I'd think banking apps might be setting specific iOS requirements and some other checks to try and minimise misuse in any way. It's money and banks need to be cautious to safeguard the public who'd be more than willing to sue the bank if something happens to their money using the banking app on a beta iOS that the bank didn't ask or help the users install.

However, I have seen this happen with number changes in iOS than anytime in between, to the best I can recall. Once an app is optimised for a number version say iOS 13, it stands a chance to work throughout iOS 13.x iterations unless Apple brings some major changes.

My PM has been weird with stating no Internet randomly even outside of updates since the last beta. Haven't gone to the new one yet.
 
So, relating to Beta 1, relating to trying to tether to another iOS device to see if we can do that to get OTAs again, anyone having an issue where they can't get one of their devices to disconnect from the other?

Does anyone else have a problem with the snapshots inside multitasking on iPadOS? Mine haven’t been updated in literally months. I have the exact same snapshot for some of my apps that I have had since November. Go into multitasking, look at a recent app and see if it’s where you left off. Then go to the home screen and look at the multitasker again. It has not shown a current snapshot for me in over 3 months.
 
Not sure what changed, but after a phone call and bringing the phone down from my ear, it's on the recents screen, not the active call screen. I have to hit the green bubble top left and then end the call. Doesn't happen every time, but often enough that i end up initiating another call by accident.

Happens to me every time I long press on the facetime or phone icon and attempt to initiate a call from the favourites that way. The bug basically opens the app to make the call as it should, then opens the app again at the recents screen, thus minimising the first attempt. I think this is related to the fact that long-press on messages is also screwed (either no recents, or a very old list).

ahhhhh thanks so much for the explanation. I do use the favorites often so now I know that is why. It's really annoying how they got rid of 3D touch and basically broke the functionality of the menus.

Ahh. I used to have signature issues but specific to formatting. Those are now fixed.

Have you tried just adding spaces to the “blank” one?

Tried that. Doesn’t work. It works with a period or something, but not a blank space.

Clicking on lyrics in the Music app now shows as an active button-like state. Haven’t seen that before.

Okay this is weird. Had it running since it came out as dev OTA and just now the Messages app is frozen. No profile images loading, I can’t tap anything. It’s simply stuck. I restarted, nothing. I forced closed. Nothing. What the...

Hotspot from macOS 10.15.3 stopped working. Anyone else with this problem?

Edit: Was a Carrier related problem.

well, for me it is better in this release, I would not say it is completely fixed.

but most of the time the mails are now in the inbox without having to pull them when I go into mail.

most of the time, but it still happens some of the time.... so it looks like we are heading in the right direction, finally !

Plus you can add to the shortcut scripting to add Shazam‘ed tracks to a different playlist instead of the one the Shazam app adds to. I have a “Check These Out” playlist of songs that I add to, not just from Shazam. In the past I’ve always gone thru and opened the track in Music after Shazamming it, so I could manually add it to my Playlist. Then go back and delete the track from the Shazam playlist.

Mail is working waaaay better for me on my iPhone 11 Pro Max with beta 1 & now 2. The UI Changes put it exactly where (IMO) it should have stayed, and the All Inboxes folder is updating a lot quicker for me now. I’m going to update my iPad Pro today, and I usually keep my iPad away from the beta train. Seeing good things on my phone, though.

I reported this same thing yesterday. Grey contact photos, no access to conversations. Even a second reboot after closing failed to fix things right away. It randomly started working again after five minutes.
