When I want to open a link, I tap it. When I long-press it, I want to open it in background. So, having Open as the first option in 13.4 betas is counter-intuitive (to me). I am hoping it is so for millions more, making Apple revert if this is intentional, which seems to be the case, 5 betas in.

5 betas in, it seems like it is the way they want it to be. I would love to know their reasoning to understand this better.

I now think I will enjoy 13.3.1 until iOS 14 drops.

It matters to me since I use that option a lot, and it is counter-intuitive to have Open as first option when you can simply tap the link to open it. Long-pressing indicates more, so Open in Background should be the first option when long-pressed.

In 13.4, Apple seems to be providing another way of opening a link. As always, you can open a link by tapping it straightaway, but if you are feeling more playful or have more time, you can long-press and then tap the first option which is.. Open.
Anyone experiencing really bad WiFi performance? Mine just took a nosedive. Already reset network settings. Yikes!

Nope all good here on my ASUS 802.11x network![]()
The Issue regarding Wi-Fi Assist is still there. Whenever I try to turn it off, it's turned back on as soon as I go back into Settings > Cellular.
Never had it happen in CarPlay but Map shows me and friends off road in “Find My” frequently.I assure you I am actually driving on the street. It’ll do this every now and then. Started last week on the previous beta. I was at a red light in line when I took this pic, but that’s not clear from this pic. iPhone X.View attachment 898522
6 hours into a new beta and only 39 posts. Truly we are nearing the end of iOS 13. Just 3 months (hopefully) til iOS 14!
I use Spotify for 3-4 hours a day and it hasn’t crashed on me. Reset all settings perhaps?I hope this fixes Spotify and YouTube music apps crashing. It’s been happening since 13.4
There were ~115MB of changes for Beta 5 so there’s a decent amount there. Just because it isn’t slapping you in the face doesn’t mean nothing has changed.I believe it’s because nothing has changed and there’s nothing exciting enough to discuss.
And if it's going to be the second option in iOS14 as well then you're going to stay on 13.3.1 right?
Yep! They’re muppets! It’s still broken. “N unread” message, yet no new messages in the inbox!Of course not! And I havent even checked, it just won’t be fixed. Apple are muppets!
