iTunes update for Windows is out. Run “apple software update” and it will grab the update.
I haven’t had to run Windows in quite awhile, but several years ago iTunes was truly one of the worst pieces of Windows software I’ve ever had the displeasure of using. Hopefully it’s improved since then.

It’s still garbage. I just use my Windows PC more than I do my Mac, and figured people would want to know iTunes had been updated since previous version wouldn’t allow access to device if it was on 13.4.

Gotcha. No I wasn’t saying it wasn’t good to post the info 🙂 I was just using it as a jumping off point to rant against iTunes for Windows 🤣

Tried to connect my iPad Air 3 with magic mouse 2. Success. But after disconnect the mouse, in the lock screen there is small circle (same with mouse pointer when mouse connected previously) even though mouse has been disconnected. Anyone know how to get rid of this? thanks!

I would love Apple to firstly iron out all the bugs that arose from IOS 13, and secondly implement new features that the majority of users will use instead of making new features to car play or the home app which not the majority will use, I might be wrong, but I would love Apple to bring the call see notification like Android where when someone calls it only pop up half screen not the full screen, that's just one feature Apple should implement, I'm surprised they haven't already, adding more new wallpapers as well,

Is AssistiveTouch on? Need to turn it off when mouse is disconnected.

As usual since 13.0, they broke once again smart invert colours. Now it will not work anymore in Safari if you are in dark mode. You have to be in light mode to work properly again. I’m tired of this.

On the plus side however, the new trackpad/mouse support for iPad is amazing. Really work well and it completely change my ipad usage. Its more and more close to a laptop alternative now.

The haphazard implementation for mice is frustrating, though, with controls scattered about and the need to still use AssistiveTouch. Apple really needs to clean up the user interface for this.

Agreed, one place to find all trackpad settings would be nice. They could even continue to be duplicated in their current locations, as long as there was also one unified view to find them from.

But what is AssistiveTouch needed for?

No it’s not. The “pointer” is much smaller circle from assistive touch and gradually disappear few seconds after I unlocked the iPad.

Just noticed weird bluish artifacts on menu items while scrolling through various native app screens (Settings, App Store). Only showing up in dark mode with the screen at less than full brightness. Using an iPhone X.

It provides functionality that allows you to map actions to individual mouse buttons.

Ah, interesting! Maybe not immediately useful for my MT2 but I can see the benefit for mice. It does appear to offer custom gestures, though...

Based on how this feels, I think a case can be made for one of 2 things having happened:

A. They actually rushed the enhanced (or native) mouse/trackpad support forward from iOS 14 for some reason and they’ll clean up the controls in iOS 14 (which is too bad, because for most people they are only halfway through iOS 13’s lifespan). Having this feature appear in a late beta of a late point release lends some credence to this (although it could also have been to hide the trackpad functionality of the Magic Keyboard). Al lot of things feel weird about the release of the new iPad: it doesn’t really move the ball forward much except the new camera/LIDAR unit, so maybe Apple never intended to release that or the Magic Keyboard now, but had to to advance some other need (A/R data perhaps). The trackpad support thus had to be cribbed into a framework it was never really intended for.

B. This feature was always intended for now, but given the need to fix iOS 13 and the impact of moving everyone home, they could not get all the controls moved to a single location. Perhaps that will then happen in a putative iOS 13.5 (we may find out today!)

hello all, I use developer profile, 13.4 GM build (developer beta 6), but I don't get the public 13.4 that released yesterday ?.. its normal ?

Anyone still having RAM / Memory management issues in 13.4 B6 on 2018 iPad Pro? Safari tabs constantly refreshing, even tabs used in the last few minutes. Definitely makes it hard to get things done when it’s constantly refreshing. Any tips or suggestions appreciated!

Same problem here

yikes! not an issue on my 2017 iPadPro on 13.3

maybe I won’t update ...

iOS 13 from what I’ve read seems like a crapshoot with memory management from one build to another

Is it just me... or there’s no share icloud link for files in the Files app, just the ones in Photos? Using GM version, 11 pro.

IPP 11 and IPP 12.9 G2

Seeing this issue in Safari on both iPads. On some sites with substantive text, I am getting a heavy line horizontally in the middle of the screen. I am not seeing this on the Pro Max. A reboot has not fixed the issue. I am not seeing this on sites that have mooderate or more graphics.
