I had this exact issue a while ago and no amount of signing out, signing in, and updates fixed it. I had to do a clean install of my phone (XS max back then) for it to work. It’s stayed on ever since. Not saying you’ve got to do that, just offering my fix.

Did you ever try a "reset all settings"? I would do that first for weird issues like that before a clean install since its easier and faster. Just a thought.

Happy to report that it seems my HomePod issues have been resolved since updated to the GM.

What HP issues have you been having? I’ve been having issues with handoff. Also, was the ATV/HP issue fixed? The one where if you use HP as the speaker while using ATV, then turn off the TV and ATV and tell HP to play certain songs/playlists, it says it can’t do that. This annoying bug has been around for so long it’s hard to believe Apple still hasn’t fixed it. Thanks in advance.

HomePod couldn’t control HomeKit nor send messages to any contacts. It would time out on the HomeKit front. And she (HomePod) would say she can’t find which ever contact I wanted to message/call. This all seems to work now.

When I go to enable the Covid logging option, it says I don’t have an app installed. What app do I need?

Normal for the attachment to take that long? It doesnt on my XR?
The photo probably just hasn’t been processed yet. If you take a picture, then immediately view it by tapping on the thumbnail within Camera, you can see it takes time to process for a moment...probably sweater mode in action. Since XR doesn’t have sweater mode, it only affects 11 and 11 Pro

Has anyone noticed connecting with Personal Hotspot is a LOT faster with this release? I'm wondering if it's actually faster or if local conditions have changed. I just unplugged my cable modem because of a heavy lightning storm and connected to my phone hotspot and it was instant, unlike before where it would fart around for about 15 seconds.

Also IPv6 is working; last time I tried hotspot it didn't work and I only had IPv4.

Every time I switch over to safari the screen locks for 3-5 seconds before it becomes responsive again. Is anyone else having this issue or know a way to fix it?

i am on 2018 IPad Pro 12.9 AT&T

Probably silly to ask but is the Mail app working any better with gmail exchange? Gave it up several releases ago but would like to have all my mail in one place if possible.

I recommend the outlook app its fantastic
I appreciate the recommendation but I am using gmail now and really dislike not being able to deal with calender invites on the stock app. My work email (still using stock app) which is also exchange uses them liberally. Hoping to eventually move back to just stock and awaiting their fix. Sad because it has worked well for me for years.

There's no apps yet because this hasn't been released to the public yet. Expect apps to appear sometime after public release.

Concerns me on who writes these apps ...

No real change in the short time I’m testing this ...
