I’m loving the iPad changes. I have the 10.5 inch pro. I believe mouse support is usb only. Hopefully companies release lightning adapters to USB A/C etc. I can’t wait. It’s like having another laptop all over again.

Hopefully this applies to all iPads and not the ones with USB 3.0 port

Apparently Bluetooth dongle mouses (??) are also supported, as is the Magic Trackpad, all per Stephen Troughton-Smith.

Ah ok. I read that apparently Bluetooth mouses weren’t but I’ll look at Stephens twitter account just to make sure. Thanks

So they removed the method of downloading the dev profile through Google and now they are forcing us to wait for the public beta? Am I understanding this correctly?
“Forcing” more like guarding unsuspecting users to install beta and flood to Apple store for technical support.
They can always resort to UDID registration or more strict method if they want. (Verifying real identity before upgrading beta 1 for example).

got it going on iPhone XS. psyched on this beta. it was fairly stuttery when rebooting into it (and hung on the Apple logo w/ bar for a VERY long time) but performance seems to be pretty good for a beta 1, at least so far! curious about battery in the long run though, not expecting anything wild as it's a dev beta but we'll see
Funny. I was just about to post the exact same observations on my XS Max. There was some stutter when it first booted, but now it seems to be ok for the most part. I've noticed a small bit of lag here and there as to be expected from a first beta, but overall it's pretty good. Dig dark mode for sure.

I'm a bit confused by that as well. I've turned it off until I know more about it.
Its not good for your battery to be on the charger the whole night on 100%. So when you go to sleep and plugin your phone, it will only charge up to 80%. The last 20% will be charged short before you wake up, so the minute you wake up you are at 100% -> better for your battery

Anyone can try if Lightroom CC already works for usb c tethering from a camera?

You can just grab the 4.7mb MobileDevice.pkg that was posted. Install that and then iTunes will update / restore the beta with no problems at all.

How am I supposed to do this if I don't have iTunes? I am a licensed developer and installed macOS 10.15 first, now I don't have iTunes and can't figure out how to install this on my iPhone. I have also downloaded and installed Xcode, that that doesn't seem to help.

Can anyone explain to me what does this mean? I really can’t understand this.
LiIon batteries age faster if you fully charge them. When they age they don’t hold as full a charge.

So to prevent that, iOS learns not to fully charge your device until you need it. So, for example, if you charge at night, it will figure out that you never take the phone off the charger before 7am, and so it will charge up to 80 percent overnight, then wait until 6am to charge the rest of the way.

Hmmmmm, very interesting. Will have to give this a go and see how smart it really is.
