Why is Failbook asking for bluetooth access?
It’s completely relevant to their business model to know what you’re printing and listening to, right?

Why is Failbook asking for bluetooth access?
So any external disk is possible to connect? What about file systems, will it support exFAT or only APFS and HFS+? Anyone with the beta that can tell?
Also, can anyone confirm that Lightning-enabled iPads will get this too and not just USB-C-iPads (the third gen)?
I thought Facebook always wants to access everything on your iPhone. LOL

They use WLAN and Bluetooth to track your location even if you disabled GPS.Why is Failbook asking for bluetooth access?
They're still there for me. Open Contacts app and "Groups" shows top left. Tapping it lists my groups.
[doublepost=1559637566][/doublepost]A couple of things I'd like to see in the new swipe keyboard feature (as I was using gboard until today):
1. Clicking back/delete should immediately delete the entire word if I press it right after swiping a word, as it means it got the wrong word. Having to delete it letter by letter is irritating.
2. Swiping a text replacement shortcut should give me the option (across the top row selection list) of the actual replacement text, not just alternative "spellings" of my text replacement.
I'm not a registered developer but the feedback app is still there so I've logged the above as requests. I've also requested the MacOS dashboard back so they may just ignore all my requests
EDIT: Apparently even developers now use the Feedback app (instead of the ol' Bug Reporter). https://9to5mac.com/2019/06/03/apple-feedback-assistant-developers/

If I were you, I wouldn’t put a very first beta of a major release on your main phone unless you don’t need or care for its reliability. For me messing up with iOS 13 on a spare iPad is more than enough to holding me until September.Installed it on my iPad Pro 12,9-inch 2. Gen and have to say so far it's running much better than expected. Haven't really run into any major issues and all the apps I've tested are working as intended and expected.
Hard to really judge the battery life as I haven't really been using it for a while so I've only picked it up as I wasn't brave enough to install it on our iPad Pro 12,9-inch 3. Gen or my iPhone Xs Max without experience with the release first.
Getting tempted to install it on my iPhone Xs Max, how is the experience with the battery life?
[doublepost=1559653274][/doublepost]Can you post some screenshots of the home screen vertically?
Does your physical keyboard work? My space bar is all goofy.
It’s not possible. Can someone with an iPad Pro and Smart Keyboard check to see whether it's now possible to hold down a key on the keyboard to get an accent selection to pop up, like on the Mac? For example on the Mac if you type an 'e' but hold down the key, it gives you options of è é ê etc.
If they removed 3D Touch like a few have claimed, I will be terribly disappointed.
They didnt really removed it but its very different now. For example a 3d touch on a whatsapp notification does nothing. Or if you 3d touch a app icon, its waaaaaaaaay slower to show the options and its not slideable anymore. They are 100% on the way removing 3d touch even on devices with a sensorIf they removed 3D Touch like a few have claimed, I will be terribly disappointed.
3D Touch is gone, it's long press now.... Basically it's the same thing because it's done almost the same way...If they removed 3D Touch like a few have claimed, I will be terribly disappointed.

Ah ha. So Tim took a potshot at Zuck yesterday then. Bravo.
[doublepost=1559652876][/doublepost]So what's the deal with our wallpapers now?
Is Apple really screwing us again by darkening them if we're in dark mode?
I decided to reply to your post without reading it to the endI literally said that they are not missing from the contacts app, but that they are missing from the phone app. I don’t use the contacts app. It’s redundant
