Not sure if this has been answered yet, so many messages. I cannot see any files on the iCloud Drive in the Files app on the iPad. Just always slows “Loading” but never loads anything. Tried restarting and closing the app many times.

There's definitely a few bugs in Files right now but I haven't seen that one. As with all things iCloud, especially during beta, when it's not working correctly it's worth trying to log out of iCloud, optionally restart and sign back in.

Is this new in the mail app? Once you open an email, you can swipe left or right to access options like deleting the email.

The functionality is just like when you would 3D Touch and swipe left/right on an email when viewing your inbox, except this is while the email is fully open.

If this existed before, I never knew.

I thought it was new for a second but I’m pretty sure it’s been around for a little while. Maybe since iOS 11 or 12?

‘Turning off cloud drive then rebooting and then turning back on and rebooting fixed it. I was scared to at first because it said files were still being uploaded and would loose changes.

Definitely not new. It’s available in iOS 12.

Been using dark mode at night and just not a fan. Don’t see myself using this much, if ever. Just looks weird to me.

Man I‘m already so satisfied about 13. all those little nice new things popping up everywhere and we are just in the first beta.

Apple music gives you an alert now if you try to add a song to a playlist thats already there

HALLELUJAH!!!!

As an avid curator, this is mana from heaven.

Doesn't seem to work on iOS 12!?

The "replacement" of 3D touch on devices that support(ed) it is kind of dumb and weird feeling.. and how do i access wifi selection from control center? Holding the icon does nothing or is is broken? And does anyone know exactly what low data mode does? I already have background refresh master disabled.

how's 3D touch working on iOS 13 everyone?
Working as normal on the lock screen, control centre and keyboard. Not working as normal (haptic touch) on home screen. Like others have said, it's a weird hybrid.

Other than that working quite well on my XS. Although I keep getting pop ups that say that (already) installed apps have failed to install. I wonder if it's somehow attempting an iCloud restore on top of a working upgrade? Battery is definitely going down faster than normal, but I expect that to level out once this rogue process has finished.

Inconsistently. Seems unaffected in some apps but replaced by long press some places in the OS in my XS Max. However, it's way too early to draw any conclusions from that. We know they're overhauling this for 13 and it's exactly the kind of thing that changes, progresses and regresses across a beta cycle. I wouldn't make any assumptions based on current behavior.

Hopefully, they'll fix it in future beta. Even if they decide to remove 3D touch from future devices, it's too early to replace 3D touch with long press in iOS13 considering the number of devices with 3D touch on the market.

Personally, I like and use 3D Touch. Not a great amount, but I do use it. If they remove it on devices capable of it in the name of cross-device consistency, I wouldn't really agree with that move even if I do understand the motivation. To be honest I wouldn't particularly sweat it either. It's minor in the grand scheme of things.

In any case I really do think it's way too early to call it. In prior years countless pages of wars over small behaviors have been waged here with some insisting X won't be changed and some insisting it may. Sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't.

Anyone know how to toggle on swipe keyboard?
It asked me in a pop up once & I said yes... but it only let me use it that once.

Me too. Each person is different. But i been using it for a day. And it just seems jarring to me. And i get eye strain after a while. Is there a way to make it less jarring? It sounds stupid. But i wish i could make it less dark. If that makes sense.

Still having issues with reminders... They show up, but only on my iMac can I see them. I have clicked "upgrade" and they still show 0...

Also, either for @Justanotherfanboy or anyone else, in iPad it's "Slide on Floating Keyboard" and, as the name suggests, only works on the floating keyboard on iPad.

Yup, that was it... works fine on phone.

Super weird design choice on iPad. The floating keyboard on a 12.9” iPad Pro is miserably small. Like iPhone SE small at best. That’s absolutely unusable to me.
