I expected improved camera but I was wrong. XS Max and it’s making photos like 2M camera in dark light.
I hope that’s only this build

If you really think they'd pass that $1.27 savings on to us, you're delusional.
I don't think they are going to raise prices and I do expect them to drop the price of the base model flagship (Xs and Xs Max successors) by $50-100. But it might not be on the sticker price, as I noted and it might not be on pre-order day. They may boost trade in values, etc... Watch how often Best Buy and Amazon have dropped prices on the 11" iPad Pro. They're not doing that on their own; they're being subsidized undoubtedly.

They need to stimulate some sales.

Hello, guys.

Faced with interesting issue: installed beta 1, than iCloud backup, than settings+content reset and after restart I'm unable to install default apps i.e. Watch, Mail etc. They're just with download buttons there, push them - but nothing happens. Also tried from App Store. Tried restart, force restart, delete even one more reset - nothing changed.

Maybe someone faced with such issue?

Anyone else notice that when you connect your Apple Pencil to charge on the side of ipad the little window that used to come down and show current charge is gone

Do you have lots of apps downloading currently? Tapping these icons should initiate the download but due to volume of downloads mine was similarly unresponsive yesterday. Have you tried to 3D Touch the icon and prioritise the download?

Does Gmail and Google photo apps work fine with this build? It wasn't listed on the working or broken apps thread.

Also using the Logitech keyboard, the space bar brings up a pop up and does not space the text

Can anyone edit the lighting on portrait pics or get that new high key mono? I can’t seem to find that slider they showed off or see the high key mono option.

All apps downloaded already, so no queue.
As for 3D Touch, there are no options on those icons.

the same happens to me, I imagine that being different versions (beta) the store does not have them yet, so it prevents downloading them.
Sounds like an idea.
Tried to exclude Calendar app from iCloud and it restored successfully, but others not.
Seems like it is a problem of the first beta, clean install will solve the problem, but its quite lazy for me to check this idea. :)

Wasn’t there something about 100k radio stations? Has that happened?

I thought that was for Siri. Like you could say “hey Siri play 92.5fm” and it would do that without needing a radio app.

Worked with 92.5fm here in Toronto for me.

I can confirm the same behavior. No notification bubble.

I noticed today that I did not receive a few messages on my iPhone XS that were sent to a group thread (all iPhone users). I only know that, as I did receive the messages on my MBP, which is still running Mojave. Hoping this isn't a recurring thing, or that they quickly fix it in next beta release.
