I’d say it’s normal. Somehow. There are lots of discussions around that. Anyway I wouldn’t worry. FYI I have over 120k photos in my library and whenever I change my phone or do a hrs reset it takes days even weeks to index again everything. On this beta I see it runs again a library analysis even though it was update not set up as new. And just to make things even better during this time the battery is literally killed with hours of photo background activity. But hey. I’m ok. It’s part of the process. It was my choice to use iCloud Photo Library and tbh I’m still waiting some under the hood improvements in that area.

Thanks for the reassurance. I left my phone running overnight on the charger and I'm pleased to report that all of my photos showed up in the morning. The battery was pretty warm throughout the day and a peek at the battery stats indicated that Photos (background activity) utilized 49% of my battery in the last 24 hours.

Very strange. I'm sure you've tried quitting Safari, rebooting etc. so I'm afraid I don't have any better suggestions. Couldn't find any Safari settings related to it either.

Have figured it out (thanks to your suggestions!!): this is not systemwide but is limited to Safari pages, PDFs, and emails. Screenshots taken outside of those environments will not provide the full screen markup functionality.

PDFs are where I most need this, so I’m glad it’s there!

Thanks!!!

Yes I have read this, it seems when people use a different app for the software update other than iTunes it breaks, I used 3uTools on Windows 10 and all working fine here.

Adam.

Yea checked that app and it asks to bind the app with your Apple ID? How safe is that.

Face ID indeed is a bit buggy after a couple of days. Sometimes it seems its shutting itself off, every app prompts your passwords and even unlock isnt possible anymore. A restart fixes that.

Updated with .ipsw and macos catalina

But basically using 3dt party app for flashing new beta includes the possibility that the file is tampered by someone. ?

I don‘t think you can hijack a .ipsw since its server checked by apple but I def would never ever tie a tool with my apple id. Never.

Windows users always can set up a virtual machine with mojave or catalina beta and install ios pretty easily

I paired up my PowerBeats 3 this weekend. They paired fine but I never could get any music to play through them. I was getting click sounds when navigating in the phone, but no audio from Spotify, SiriusXm nor Google Play.
Anyone else experience this?
I tried multiple reboots, forgetting and repairing etc...

@JusVan.exe Yes watchOS 4 will work with iOS 13 beta.

The only problem I have is the push notifications of Mail and WhatsApp. But this is more of an iOS problem and is not related to watchOS 4.

Is there any ounce of chance the second beta will be released today? I’m betting on next Monday but I can’t help but hope for today lol

Not sure if this is watchOS or iOS problem but while listening to pod casts with my AirPods they pause every time I get an alert whether it be for email or even Tapatalk. Pretty annoying.

It’s time for UI overhaul. 6th generation with no significant change. Even Microsoft is trying to make UI less boring.

Common, Apple, it’s not 2013 anymore.

In fact, even those who have Android love this „boring” UI. :D

Yup, because people don’t realize once you use something else for so long, you get bored of that too, and end up wanting to come back to the beloved Apple ecosystem :D:D at least that happened to me years ago when I went to a windows phone, back to iPhone, to a galaxy, and then I stayed with iPhone ever since :D never again.

Just like you I’m hoping for the same thing haha. But I’m pretty sure it’s just gonna be the next beta of iOS 12.4.

Bluetooth shutting off (AirPods in this case) when airplane mode is turned on.

Am I just completely misremembering this or did AirPods/Bluetooth stay connected when airplane mode was turned on in iOS 12? I thought I remember being in a plane and continuing uninterrupted to listen when I switched on Airplane mode. I also used to toggle it in the subway to kick the connection back on and don't remember losing my audio.

Not sure if this has been mentioned but my RavPower wireless charger no longer charges my Xs running iOS 13 beta 1, anyone else have issues? It starts charging then stops and the light on the charger flashes blue and phone won’t charge, charges fine when plugged in though.

Adam.
