When I opened FB the first time after updating to 13, i got that infamous "FB would like to access bluetooth." I clicked never or whatever it was. I saw someone said so it can communicate with the Apple Watch. Well I have it turned off but it still sent me messages to the Apple Watch. So it's using bluetooth for something else nefarious.

Yep. I'm pretty sure (though with no actual evidence to back this up) that all Watch notifications/syncing is done on the system level, not by apps themselves.
[doublepost=1560438053][/doublepost]For all the 3D Touch users: How have things been using Haptic Touch so far?

That's not a good system (no, it's actually a TERRIBLE system) for setting multi-colored flags. It looks like you actually have to be replying to someone. If I'm setting a flag, its when I get the email and flag it for further action, including a reply. I don't want to have to reply in order to have this option.

Hopefully I'm missing something here...

If not, its SUGGESTION TIME!

It’s not intuitive at all! They need to change the ‘reply’ to an action button or something...

Well, really it’s not the best way to flag

This is another option, using Peak an Pop / 3D Touch

That only lets you place a flag, not select a color, unfortunately (unless I'm not doing it right). But that would be the place to put it to be effective.

I just realized I can't save videos that I received in iMessage. I click download but can't find the video in photo app. I can save pictures fine. Anyone else have this problem. I'm on iPhone xs max.

Guys, I'm having a couple of questions about downgrading.
I decided to do so, googled the instructions and got confused because there are two methods:
  1. Downgrade iPhone using the recovery mode
  2. Downgrade iPhone using a downloaded IPSW of iOS 12.3.1. and option + update
Which is better?

And the second question: I have an Apple Watch on watchOS 5.whatevertheversion paired to an iPhone with iOS 13 on it. Should I unpair my Watch if I'm using the 1st method? Is the 1st method even possible to perform?

First one is the safest way and for your second question, you can either unpair it or wipe that as well too.

So i just stumbled onto this from phonearena.com
https://www.phonearena.com/news/App...eta-release-date-OTA-update-profiles_id116583

Looks like someone reached out to Craig Federighi about the OTA Profile
That's good I hate hearing people complain about Bugs just to have the newest features on there iPhone to show off to other's overall there shouldn't be a beta profile they already have in house testing and developers testing so I don't really see the reason of why there should be a public beta and most people do it without actually reporting bugs

Having a few hundred thousand or even a million public beta testers is a far better stress testing mechanism than simulators or 5-10,000 developers. But I agree: if you’re going the beta route, do not complain.

Personally I love testing betas and always run them on my daily drivers. Of course I’m not advocating that but it’s all part of the process for me

Has anyone else noticed, that with Apple audiobook downloads, you are still promoted to engage wifi with large files, even though the setting to use cellular and not be prompted about file size is toggled on?

Yeah put me in that group too. Sometimes I’ve been sorry but overall it’s been a lot of fun

Yup. The only one that ever gives me cause for concern is the Watch. The rest we can always downgrade ourselves if it goes the shape of a pear

I was actually just thinking about this a few minutes ago: if a device was life-sustaining (running a dialysis machine or controlling the operation of a vehicle) I would never put a beta on it. Period. However, I lived most of my life without a smart device and I think I could cope if one temporarily crapped out because of a beta. I’d miss you all very much but I know I’d be back soon, with no real harm done. The Watch, I’m a little more skittish about, but as I’m a registered developer and my Watch is still under warranty, I am about 100% certain they’d either reset it in store with their magic or at worst I’d have to wait a day or 2 (at most) for a replacement.

I’m willing to take these “risks”.

But I’m never going to complain if one of these bad things happen because that’s what you sign up for.

Any one else experiencing massive battery drain recently?

Had it installed since Day 1 however last 2 days i am getting about 50% battery drain in 3-4 hours?

Battery settings not shedding any light. Any ideas?
