So they cannot comment?! Stop being dev beta police and let people do what they wanna do.

This is a hobbyist/fan forum not an official Apple one.

Yes, but it’s really annoying to read always the same when these betas are out. Why don’t discuss about facts and interesting parts of it. My god...dev police...you’re the same hot air blowing person, that makes these fan Forum to troll forums...

Comment ... This is a dev beta!!! Not for making you happy!!!
Duhhhh.
I knew what I've signed up for, okay? There's no reason to be such a snob, okay?
I just stated that the developer beta of iOS 12 was way much stable than the first beta of iOS 13.
What is your problem? This is a community for discussing bugs and stuff.

If reading annoys you, then stop reading.

Already completed :)
To be honest, I'm kinda disappointed in the first beta of iOS 13. Yeah, I know, it's beta and all of the stuff, I just remember when I installed the first developer beta also of iOS 12 and it was like the whole new world, my iPhone wasn't performing like that out of the box.
iOS 13 was full of little bugs that annoyed to me to death.
iOS 12 was mainly a performance update without many significant new features. iOS 13 has a lot more new features that can cause some bugs.

I’d say it does not matter whether the watch is paired or not, as iOS 12 cannot read iOS 13 health data anyway.
Actually, this is not true. When I set up my Apple Watch again and restored it from the backup that was created when I unpaired the watch from the phone, health data seemed to be gone since I've installed the beta. But today I noticed that the data appeared, except for the half of the day when downgrading happened.

Every time I open camera, the default app or via instagram, I can hear my lens clicking, I hope its a beta 1 issue

Strange issue and it happened only once. In that I hit the camera button on the lock screen and my camera was black. Switched it from portrait to photo and my camera worked. Again only happened once and can’t reproduce it.

Anyone else notice this?

Everytime I open, close camera app I hear the click. iPhone 8 here. Never dropped it or something like that

I have also had some camera issues on my Xs, black camera, had to force close the app for it to work.

Its expected though as it’s a beta, roll on next beta.

Adam.

When viewing a video in the photos app, I can't scrub forward/back until I click 'pause', then the scrub slider becomes available. I hope this is a bug, cause it's super annoying!

6s users on iOS 13 beta 1....is it just me or are there ever so slightly more haptics involved in the UX? For example moving apps in the home now elicits haptic feedback, which it never did before

(Menus and such are still the same though)

Bug or neat touch?

Hi, in iOS 13 we got this new feature in privacy where we can allow an app your location only once, never and ask next time. I noticed this also is for weather, so the weather is no longer having the always option? After I installed the beta i think I saw the "always" option for weather but not now. So the last couple of days i have lost my weather info on the lock screen every morning. Anyone else have the issue? And is there any way to set the location to always on for weather after this update?
I think that apps now get the „Always“ option when you allow access to location data and then if they continue using the data in background, iOS asks you if you want to continue allowing background access (or revoke it to while using only).
It actually makes sense that way because I never grant the always option due to little to no transparency on how and when my data is accessed. Chances are one of your apps has reasonable usage for your location data but you never find out due to outright rejecting the always option pre-iOS13.

For some reason I can't delete a picture off my phone. Whenever I delete it from trash, it comes back. I'll delete and then go to photo app, and I'll see it restoring.

Seems like the kind of thing you should open feedback assistant and report.

Cant speak for 6s but on Xs I‘ve noticed a lot more haptics while using your phone. But in the most cases I dont find out what my phone is telling me. Feels like random haptics

I also installed thru 3utools on XS around 10 days before. Notes are completely broken, no display visible. Email app is troublesome and some apps are crashing. Signals are weak in this build compare to 12.4 B2. Waiting for B2.

I don't know if it was already discussed but I could not find it in my searches. Apple's 2x faster app launch claim depends on the new App Store packaging system. Craig said that the new packaging system results in %50 smaller app downloads, %60 smaller app updates, and its effect on app launch speed means 2x faster cold launch.

Craig adds that the new App Store packaging system will be available in Fall. Therefore, the faster app launch claims cannot be tested right now because App Store packaging system is still the same as iOS 12. However, I think Apple will test the new system in coming months (July-August) with a server side switch since they only have to change App Store system for iOS 13 beta versions on their side.

Has anyone noticed improvements with pre-release music downloading? Hoping iOS 13 finally fixes this issue.. long overdue.
