New animation for switching off Silent Mode via the switch. The bell jiggles. :p

Did it a couple of times just to enjoy and be sure too.

Wait... did some of you not have this in Beta 1? I guess I'm one of the lucky ones... I've been enjoying that ring-a-ding jiggle for 2 weeks now :)

Most notable Beta2 changes for me:
  • When creating a checklist in Notes, a notification pops up asking if I want the list to automatically reorder the list when an item is checked (keep all checked items together). Never seen that before.
  • To select a Wi-Fi network you can actually long-press the Wi-Fi icon, instead of that one spot precisely in the middle of the four icons anymore! That was one of those jeez-I-really-hope-that's-a-bug-and-not-intentional moments for me.
  • Pleasantly surprised to see album art in my CarPlay "now playing" screen! In Beta1 I actually assumed I wasn't getting that feature because my screen is smaller than the super-wide CarPlay screens they showed in the demo. Turns out it fits just fine on my Impreza's normal-sized display, with just a tad of pause button squishing!

I seem to remember this happening last year around this time, but am being too lazy to check. It seems that I have lost being able to open Private Browsing tabs in safari. Both 8+ and 10.5 IPP. Worked fine on Beta 1 but the option just isn’t there anymore.

I think I recall this from reading about the first beta but just wanted to confirm. I have a badge on my settings app but nothing within. Do I sign out and back into iCloud to fix this?

Pls. can someone shot a photo with the new camera feature chroma key high mono. Thanks

Photos wont sync to iCloud unless on wifi and plugged in charging.. and yes I have enabled the data over lte and still says no internet connection. worked fine in beta 1 .. logged bug

So I have Feedback Assistant on my phone and iPad but can't create a new bug. It says it's expired and I can't use the web form. Ideas?

Quick type keyboard feels a lot faster which is amazing! Definitely going to be my go to from now on...

Also if it guesses the wrong word, pressing backspace will now delete the

Google still seems better
[doublepost=1560822254][/doublepost]With Safari open, can you tell in the URL bar and it automatically delete what's in there without having to click the X?

Don't know If someone answered, but I have a question: I noticed betas go from last letter to the first, depending on the polishment of said version. But what does "x builds ahead" mean?

Apple typically does a build each business day (based on past experience with build numbers). They released 17A5492t as beta 1. The 17 represents iOS 13 (looking at iOS 12 builds, they start at 16), ‘A’ represents X.0 (‘B’ represents X.1, etc). The 5 represents a developer beta (or a build compiled with logging tools enabled, such as extra analytics and the feedback app), the next two/three numbers represent how many times it was compiled (see above, typically at the end of each business day), and any letter at the end represents a “revision” to the build, which is typically a quick hot fix but not enough to compile a new build.

This build is 17A5508m. Let’s compare that to beta 1 (17A5492t). Subtracting 5508 and 5492 yields 16. 16 builds newer (if there’s five days in a business week, then this build was the work of the past three weeks plus one business day). Looking at the letter ‘m’, it’s the 13th letter in the alphabet. It took quality assurance 13 revisions in order for this 508 build to be deemed “stable” for public use. Obviously this is much better than a ‘t’ build. Although never proven, people tend to assume a build is more stable if there’s less revisions to it (aka ends in ‘a’, ‘b’, or ‘c’) before the quality assurance team seems it ready to be released outside of the internal teams who work in development of the software.

Interesting fact to note: remember that report from early 2018 where iOS 12 features were being pushed back to iOS 13, and that both would be developed concurrently to improve quality? Looking at the build number for beta 1, they started work about 492 business days ago from when it was compiled before WWDC, confirming that rumor that they started work on 13.0 in late 2017.

Build numbers are a pretty interesting concept. I hope this clarifies any confusion!

I'm having a fun issue where Safari won't let me install configuration profiles. It keeps giving me a "Safari could not install a profile due to an unknown error." pop-up. This has been the case since beta 1. Oddly enough, this is only happening on my iPhone XS Max running iOS 13 beta 2, while my first-get 12.9" iPad Pro running iPadOS 13 beta 2 installs profiles just fine.

Anyone else having issues with this? I filed a bug report. Hopefully this can get addressed.
I had this error when I was trying to install TVOS profile by mistake on my iPhone.

Installed iOS 13. I dont see any change to the files app. I thought that was supposed to give me a full blown file system?

Custom ringtone is fixed and works fine now in beta 2 instead of it using a default tone.

Adam.
To be fair, the only custom ringtone that was not working during beta 1 was phone call ringtone. The message one and mail one worked just fine. I think what Apple fixed in beta 2 is this one.
Still incompatibility with MDM (AirWatch in my case). Device unenrolls. Device must be re-enrolled.
Office 365 MDM works fine here.
Having major issues with my iPad Pro third gen 11 inch where, when I swipe up to unlock, the screen goes black with a spinning wheel and then reverts back to the lock screen - every now and then i can get past the lock screen but nothing seems to work to fix it it. Anyone else having this issue?
[doublepost=1560812541][/doublepost]

Further analysis seems to show that it is related to the Apple keyboard/case - when i have the keyboard deployed (i.e. not folded behind the iPad) there are constant crashes, however it seems to be OK with the keyboard either detached or stowed away.
I am also using Apple Keyboard case, and I do not have the same issue.
I'm also having this issue. Can't download the Music App again. I remove it trying to fix the "enter code" issue
My guess is the Music app available in the App Store is still iOS 12 version, which is incompatible with iOS 13 music app.

Waiting for this

Screen recordings smart album
All your new screen recordings are now in one place.

If you put LTE Voice & Data, but your network doesn't support it, it says in a message that the network it's not certified and it can consume data and battery. (The network im in only supports it with Android devices).

What's missing that you'd like to accomplish?

Edit for more expansive answer: 13 brings full local user file management, usb drive access and smb connections. What use case do you have that isn't satisfied by that?

Coming from iOS 12.4 beta 4 to this. Stability and performance totally feels the same. I was worried about that. WiFi on the XS Max still sucks in terms of range.

Unable to get any calls on this beta. Seems like a T-Mobile VOIP issue? Seems not much reports on this forum.

I noticed my folders previews on the home screen are dark now even though I have dark mode off. Just a live particle wallpaper is set. Also the status icons looks dark too. Feels out of place.

So far no app crashes. I’ve come to realize apps I trust, all asked for Bluetooth permission. Like. Why.

No issue with Apple Watch Series 4. I’m upgrading it to the new watch os 6 beta as well, says it’s gonna take 4 hours, coming from watch os 5. Go figure.

Lastly..apps do feel like they are opening faster for sure. This beta feels like a iOS 13 beta 5 lol.
