Pretty unusual though. They could just as easily have waited for Beta 4. Unless this was solely to get the 7/7+ on the same track and develop a week's worth of user data from the entire fleet.

Totally agree with you on this. Even the release hour suggest it's something that was not ready a long time ago as most betas usually are. They probably want to keep everything in line to mitigate the confusion that may arise from this.

They usually are ahead internally. so they may have found something on 7/7+ internally. Speculation

I'm not too familiar with the build numbers, but don't we want the last letter to get closer to a?

This one went from f to g, isn't that backwards?

Did installing this latest patch mess with anyone's apple watch? Mine is now showing the "Apple watch basics" screen and the apple watch app on the iphone says "Apple watch is syncing". My watch was running the latest OS 6 beta and my phone was running dev beta 3 prior to this small patch..

That’s because it’s a newer compile of the same build. f turned out to be bad so they tried to compile it again and it seems like they are satisfied with attempt g.

Each revision of a version is 1 letter, since it's a new revision of the same version it went to the next letter.

The letters don't necessarily say anything specific regarding quality.

Mine's ok. Same config.

Mine is ok too.

With revised beta 3, I can now download stock apps again that I had deleted prior to installing the first beta.

So as far as i know, the unresponsive has eased down a bit. Swiping has become a tad easier and getting rid of apps on multitask has also gotten easier. Hopefully it stays like this but highly doubt it.

Aside from the fact it would be ridiculous for them to think that having however many millions of people take their vehicles in to be updated would be acceptable, CarPlay is essentially just a video stream from the phone to the radio display. They will get it sorted out in the betas.
I expect that's correct. I would not have to take my car in for an update. They happen over the air.

My yoga day and international women’s day challenge awards have disappeared. Anyone else? They were there in beta 3 v1
Edit: They’re still there within watchOS 6
Edit 2: And they’re back!

If you have problems installing the new build- check in settings to see if your beta profile is still there. Mine removed itself and I had to reinstall the profile.

I hope this fixes the problem of calls going directly to voicemail. :)

Edit: Not fixed :(

I hope I don't have to wipe the phone and start fresh. Even though the feedback app says more than 10 reports are similar (it's like nothing compared to the massive amount of people on beta).

Why doesn’t my iPadOS 13 PB 2 iPad Pro sync tasks, etc with my iOS 12 iPhone? Emails all work as they are stored on the iCloud servers, so why wont reminders and calendar items sync as well?

Still having syncing issues with iCloud email between my iPhone and iPad wtf. Ughh! Submitting feedback again now for it

I believe that I saw something about reminders in iOS 13 is different than 12, and that the sync won't work from a 13 device to a 12.
