When in dark mode & you ask Siri to “ call x on speaker “ the speaker icon on home screen when ringing is not highlighted. It’s clearly on speaker however no indication.

Do you know how processor intensive this effect is versus the others? My guess: much more so.

Apple typically doesn’t introduce device specific features solely for marketing purposes at this point in the cycle. If they were doing that only to sell phones (as is frequently alleged) why not wait till the new phones in September?

I really doubt it is that intensive. The A11 can support the Stage Light effect and they are quite the same.

It may not be the processor that is the differentiator, but I don’t think they are the same despite the similarities in output.

YouTube app since the last update has been extremely buggy and freezes all the time, especially on iPad. The video will play with still images and working audios. Navigating around is tough and minimising video will often freeze the playback. Restart device wont solve the problem nor does restart YouTube app. Beta 3.

My youtube app is smooth as before. Not sure what’s going on with yours. Maybe try a re-installation of the app.

In order to being able to clear the safari history or get the private tab button back, disable the “Screen time” feature. Working as it should after that (you can enable it again if you want).

The positioning on my Xs max is identical for both messages and mail. Not saying they couldn’t make better use of the space, just saying they are the same on mine.

Try turning off Bold text and try it again.

Aside from YouTube app freezing constantly for 3-5 seconds, I haven’t noticed any critical bugs. But as reported by others, the touch responsiveness is definitely not working as it should, takes 2-3 swipes to get things to move.

Wow I suddenly felt nostalgia I haven’t heard or read someone mentioning Springboard since 3GS! And I have a lot of good memories on my 3GS

Aside from the fact it would be ridiculous for them to think that having however many millions of people take their vehicles in to be updated would be acceptable, CarPlay is essentially just a video stream from the phone to the radio display. They will get it sorted out in the betas.

This is so annoying. All of the sudden the Private Browsing Button is missing. I can open a private tab if I 3D touch Safari from the Home screen. But since the Private button missing, I can’t go back to regular tabs. I have to 3D Touch again from the Home screen to open a regular tab. This is making it hard to watch porn.
