I just noticed something interesting, if i connect the Magic Mouse 2 via USB (like you do on the first pairing on the Mac) it detects it properly as a Magic Mouse 2 and shows the menu to ocnfigure buttons etc... as soon as I remove the usb cable to try to use it it dissapears and is not show on bluetooth. but anyway, at least the system is able to see it and interact properly with the settings, we just need that apple fix the bluetooth pairing.

Also, on PB3 music don’t synchronize properly, it inst showing recently added albums, only downloaded ones, even with cloud library enabled, is that a know bug?

Working on my iPad Pro 9.7 and iPhoneXS, both on db4 and MacOS Mojave.
You may want to try rebooting and if that doesn't work, try signing out iCloud and back in on all your devices.

Please, can anyone compare iOS 13 beta 4 and iOS 12 long press in Safari links?

What I'd like to see is if iOS 13 haptic touch duration "fast" (in accessibility settings) option is faster than iOS 12 long press in Safari links.

I think it's important to disable 3D touch before doing this test, in order to avoid confusion between it and haptic touch.

Currently in iOS 12 it takes around 2 seconds for the context menu to appear when you long press a link in Safari.

Anyone unable to access App Store on cellular data? It’s fine on WiFi but cellular says unable to connect. Have tried everything but to no avail.

Again, instead of continuing to argue would you PLEASE post examples and steps to reproduce no darkmode keyboard. For me, when darkmode is enabled the keyboard is always dark themed. I do believe you are experiencing a bug when it comes to the keyboard.

On another note, I have used SwiftKey and while I liked being able to make my own theme for example, I ultimately decided the potential security risks just weren’t worth it. To each their own though. We all have different risks we are willing to take.

I’m in dark mode right now. As I type this on this forum my keyboard is white. I am using Brave browser. If I switch to Safari, the keyboard is black. If I switch to messages or notes or any of Apple’s apps, it’s black. If I load up Chrome, Firefox, Edge or any other browser iOS app, all the keyboards are white again. Takes you right out of the dark mode experience and makes no sense to me since when I have Fleksy keyboard installed and selected to a black theme, it overrides every other app and I’ll see a black keyboard.

Dark keyboard always works for me, sounds like a bug for you. Can you provide me a website that dark keyboard doesn’t work for you so that I may test? Perhaps we can move away from the opinions about how dark mode should be implemented and back to reporting and testing bugs?

You could try it again on today's MacOS Mojave release. My Mac was on the latest MacOS beta when it was working.

It in fact does not work better this way but rather fragments the entire iOS into a confusing mess.

What happens when older apps that people still use are not updated to support dark mode? It’s going to be jarring to see a dark keyboard and then not one. Over and over and over if the app developers choose not to support it. That’s better?

Unless Apple introduced dark mode from iOS 1, there gonna always be inconsistent interfaces across the board. And you say current dark mode is very inconsistent. How about clock app and Apple Watch app that never has a light theme to begin with, even after the introduction of dark mode? Inconsistencies exist and will continue to exist.

If Apple continue this approach through to release, there will be far more complaints about the inconsistent mess it currently is than there ever would be if Apple took this truly system-wide.

We need to remember that this is a user selectable feature.

Those that have been looking forward to Dark Mode since iOS 7, like me, have always wanted it mandated across as many aspects of the UI as possible.

For those that aren’t bothered about it, the future will remain “bright” as the default of course is Dark Mode set to off.

We will first see how many people will first realise dark mode is a thing, as dark mode is turned off by default. Then, among those 2% users who actually use dark mode, how many of them will complain an inconsistent dark mode. Speaking of which, why Apple does not have a light theme clock app and iTunes Store app? Oh, activity app and the biggest one: Apple Watch app as well? Inconsistencies are present across the board.

Yep and Android Q proved that it’s really challenging to do a system wide dark mode. There’s a force dark mode feature that is pretty awesome but it completely breaks Facebook, Facebook Messenger, and you have a lot of black on black in areas. Yes it’s frustrating that Apple can’t do this but I think it’s probably too tall of an order for either OS.

But... but.... they don’t use android device....

This thing existed quite a while ago dating back to iOS 9 I believe.

Did the beta break iCloud tabs? I have iPad OS 13 PB3 on my iPad and it can no longer see tabs on my other devices (and vice versa). iCloud tabs are still working between my phone (12.3) and my Mac (Mojave).

iCloud tab seems to work only Between Catalina and iOS 13 at this moment.
Btw, don’t upgrade to Catalina. This Beta is a huge dumpster fire.

Never said apple should force dark mode if that is what you are implying.

I am referring to some loud noises in the forums posts arguing Apple should force a system wide dark mode.

Yes. Totally doable.
The only downside I have observed so far is you have to set up watch face compilations on your watch, instead of on your iPhone.

Lol I know. Just thought I’d share a challenge that the Google Pixel has with dark mode and trying to force apps to follow suit. It can have some pretty bad (hilarious) results.

Sometimes, when arriving home and when I turn WiFi on, it says “without internet connection” and do not connect. I have to turn it off and back on again. This only happens with beta 4.

It was possible earlier today, but now it won’t work.

Edit: it let me do it when I turned on WiFi. Weird.

I have a problem since beta 1. Every time i open a camera related app, i can hear my lens making clicking sound, iPhone 8 here.
Can anybody confirm this or having the same issue? Idk if its beta or it a hardware related.

I've noticed this on the past 3 iPhones and I've read of many other people noticing this...it's hardware related but it's nothing to worry about, it's supposed to happen. The lenses move intentionally.

I noticed that Safari takes longer probably because it’s trying to open a preview tab

To me, this sounds like a simple product of being a beta. You are correct that when using the default iOS keyboard the OS should stick to whatever your preferred setting is in any app. I have a few third party apps that are using a dark keyboard and several that are not. One example that does work as expected is fantastical. My bet, and this is purely a guess, is that upon full release you will see all third party apps revert to whichever preference you have for dark mode when it comes to things like the keyboard. I’d put money on it. As far as content... that will be a different story.
