Still getting skips and lag in music playback when receiving texts or emails on LTE, and the old "volume to 110% in the first three seconds of auto-playing the next song" issue for local tracks...

Is Beta 5 stable enough for main, everyday iPhone XS Max?
Super stable!!!
All my issues resolved!
-Open in background in Safari context menu is back,
-Mail app works perfectly for me,
-the lag while scrolling through open safari tabs is completely resolved (I usually have +20 tabs open at a time),
Everything else is super snappy a responsiveness is great!

Calendars 5 still hangs when I try to enter a time for an event. Not sure whether that’s an iOS problem or an app issue.

Files that I have copied to ‘On The ipad’ in The files app are still not showing. Have to restart iPad to see them. This bug has been there since the first beta. Feedback app has shown ‘more than 10 reports’ since beta 1 but still not fixed.

I have an unread flag I can't clear from mail with beta 5 even though I have no unread mail (verified on other devices and the web).

Messages keeps crashing on me a lot. I get issues also when trying to quick reply with it saying they need iMessage for me to reply, but it works if I use the actual app. Had this problem in beta 4 as well.

Do you live in Europe? Asking because your CarPlay icons are on the right of screen instead of left.

I can adjust my CarPlay icon locations using the settings on my stereo. Doesn't matter where I live.

Volume buttons (for the ringer volume) no longer work when the phone is locked. This is a good thing I guess, in case the buttons get pressed while the phone is in one's pocket or wherever.
I kinda liked being able to adjust it when it was locked, but to each their own

I’ve never seen that setting. Must be new for this beta. Could you show me a screenshot?

It's not in the CarPlay setttings. It's in the settings for my Pioneer head-end. Has nothing to do with the beta.
It's called Driving Position

Ahhhh. Okay. Aftermarket system of course has that setting. Makes sense Incase somebody bought the system for a car in Europe or Australia and they needed that setting or if they’re in North America and they have it for our position.

I hope they shorten volume levels to 16. I feel like I’m tired when I adjust the volume.
It does it quicker if you hold the button
