What hardware is going to be released? There is no sign of any event before the end of October.

Seems unlikely on both fronts: the release of 13.2 will probably coincide with the release of new hardware, likely next week rather than this week. Regarding 13.3, first,I don’t think we’ll jump to 13.3 right away.

iOS 13.1 beta 1 was released before the iPhone 11 was released and before iOS 13 was even released officially. This release and beta cycle have been “odd” to say the least. I’m not gonna be surprised by much at this point.

it’s entirely possible that Apple releases a new 16in MBP and/or a new iPad Pro or something else.. but it’s also very likely that this will happen without an Apple event. They’ve released some pretty good hardware updates over time without an event. Store goes down, comes back up with better stuff.. I’d expect 13.2 to be released as a “GM” this week (look for the build number). They’ve always released updates on Tuesdays, but for whatever reason it’s been Thursdays lately. I’d bet we’ll see MacOS 10.15.1 later this week, maybe Friday after another “GM” style beta on Tuesday. Those are my guesses.

They had to load iOS 13.0 on iphone 11 some time before release to build launch stock so the 13.1 betas would probably have been 13.0 beta 10 (or how long we got) if apple had more time.
Now there isn’t any new hardware that needs to be loaded with 13.2 before shipping, so no need to lock 13.2 and start on 13.3 just yet.

Beta 3 has seemed to severely break the Home app. Garage doors always show Open and trying to rebuild the home results in Apple TVs not showing up as hubs or allowing users to be added for user switching.

Look at the iOS 13.2 beta 3 thread. Seems to fix a lot of issues.
There are many severe bugs which have not been fixed for me in Beta 3. Most notable ones are related to Mail app.
Thats why I was hoping that the fixes are not deferred to the 13.3 betas and are instead addressed in 13.2 beta 4.

Do we now expect 13.2 beta 4 to fix anything? Or is 13.3 beta the only bet for fixing issues?
I suspect, admittedly based on nothing apart from a wild guess, that Apple are focussing on getting their new expensive earphones working and that everything else is a lower priority for 13.2, so all the other fixes will be pushed to 13.3.

Sadly, or really aggravation-ally, I expect that's right. Rush 13.2 out to support the new Beats headphones, leave Mail and other core functions wrecked.

I read alot about issues with the mail app. Could those impacted by this not use a 3rd party app. These are often much better than stock. Such as Edison, Spark or outlook.

Of course they can...but that's not a good answer. I've never used a third party mail app. You would think for something as important as "mail," Apple (which has had a stock app for a decade) could get it right.

I have been fortunate that the issues have been limited for me, but that doesn't mean I want it to at least work as well as it was before the update.

Would still love to know what the mail app issues are, I use an iCloud email as my primary and haven't noticed any issues with the built in mail app at all.

I use iCloud, Gmail and 3 IMAP accounts and have barely any issue. (there was a lot of it while beta testing 13 (13.0) but not since then that much) So my guess is that it depends on many factors, and maybe there is a small percentage still affected (but even 1% is a lot of people) That may be why they don't get to fix it as fast as one would like
