I read alot about issues with the mail app. Could those impacted by this not use a 3rd party app. These are often much better than stock. Such as Edison, Spark or outlook.

I can't, and others are probably in the same situation. The way our corporate Exchange server is configured works only with the native Mail app.

Would still love to know what the mail app issues are, I use an iCloud email as my primary and haven't noticed any issues with the built in mail app at all.

Sure, that works fine for iCloud email. Lots of people use their iPhones for corporate email, and iCloud isn't a choice.

Of course they can...but that's not a good answer. I've never used a third party mail app. You would think for something as important as "mail," Apple (which has had a stock app for a decade) could get it right.

I have been fortunate that the issues have been limited for me, but that doesn't mean I want it to at least work as well as it was before the update.
Especially you cannot change default apps on iOS. Now it’s „only“ the mail app. What if Safari is broken like the Mail app?

Looks like another new version of catalina

if you downloaded last weeks Catalina update it doesn't show, its only for people that didn't install, strange

I wonder if the next beta will also be the one the public gets when it launches officially

For those wondering about what's next, my friends with web trackers say that they are seeing 13.2.1 builds in their tracking. So it would appear that it will be before a full 13.3 build. 13.2 (for better or worse) looks to be about done, with a release in the next few days.

I think a note about the pace of iOS 13 is in order. We have never seen this pace before. Over the last month we saw 5 publicly released builds in less than 30 days. Some say this a good thing. I don't think so. It reflects what Apple thinks about the quality of this release. Not good. I am afraid that we will not see iOS 13 ever return to the quality of iOS 12. It seems destined to me to repeat iOS 11. OK, but not really up to Apple's standards-or ours.

In my possibly jaded memory, 11 was never really right, and was a pig. It took a year and another full version update (12) to really get things working efficiently and correctly. I have been wondering if 13 isn't 11 all over again, which means we're waiting for 14, next year, to clean up 13.

My guess tomorrow beta 4 there isn’t any gm for these releases and next wend public release same as beta 4 without beta extras
