The U.K. government aren’t using Apple and Google’s tracing method. A need report said they were looking into it but they were pushing ahead with their own app. So unless they surprise us with using the Apple API then when they’re releasing the app is irrelevant.

Oh! I thought the app relied on the update to provide its data but just sent it’s data off to a central server instead of processing locally. Perhaps my misunderstanding.

Still no sign of 13.5

The dev portal calls it GM seed, and the restore version IPSW reflects the nomenclature for slated release. We should see the release today, unless something needs attention, particularly in the exposure notifications department - I am sure that is their prime focus right now for 13.5.

I agree that we should see it today. But their prime focus should be the massive massive bugs that are fixed in the mail app. A bug that allows hackers to have complete control of your phone. Now, it being Apple, that will come without comment. But it's huge. In the history of the iPhone, I can't remember a time like this. This is why I always tell people to stay away from Android. Now it's happing in iOS and Apple will at least fix it, but it would be nice if they would talk about it some.

The Upside Down
If Apple‘s releasing iOS 13.5 today, I‘m predicting that they’ll release a press release soon. Yada yada covid exposure notification is now available starting today and here are the compatible apps in so and so countries.

Apps using the 13.5 SDK were only able to be submitted to the App Store beginning last night. It seems unlikely to me we'll see 13.5 this week.

I’d be rather surprised if 13.5 isn’t publicly released today.
I just told people get the public beta then install it and remove profile easy, I’m now waiting for macos update
