I won't install the beta but I really hope Catalina 10.15.5 will be released soon now. I am tired of waiting. :(
The final version was promised for may.

More likely 13.5.1 or so, I’d reckon, since 13.5 is really just 13.4.5 with the Exposure Notification API addition and since otherwise an iOS version X.5 is unprecedented.
still about 4 months till iOS 14 public so im sure another point release, it will end on like 13.6.5

Is it ok to do ota after ota or best to do a clean install once in a while?

If your device works well, I would not do a full install on a .x release. Once the new iOS/iPadOS generation (14) is out - then yes, a fresh installation can be fun. ✌️

Slightly OT, but MR has created an iOS 14 subforum to discuss...iOS 14. So go there to speculate about iOS 14 rather than do so here, so we don't get mixed info. I'm glad they've done this now rather than waiting until 3pm on WWDC Keynote day as usual. Its about this time that interest in the old OS drops off the cliff and we end up with more speculation / discussion on the new version, but in the old thread.

I can’t see it (on Tapatalk).

There is an iOS 14 forum under the iOS umbrella forum but there is no Speculation thread if that is what you were expecting. I guess it’s not needed since we all know the first Developer build will become available on June 22.

Thanks but I can’t see anything at all referring to iOS 14. I’ll put it down to Tapatalk being its usual crap-fest.

I haven't done a clean install (via iTunes) in years and my phones have always run fine. Of course there's the occasional bug but it's extremely rare that a hard reset doesn't fix it.
Same here and in rare cases where nothing else fixes it, a "reset all settings" (if a reboot doesn't do it) will resolved most issues without having to reinstall cleanly. I have a process whereby I close all apps, then reboot before doing an install OTA. Seems to work well for me for years.
