I'm hanging tough on my speculation of Monday the 22nd :)

Ditto. But I assume, just like last year, it will only have limited availability. I can’t remember the exact sequence but I think the first beta is only available through the developer portal and you need a MAC to install it. OTA didn’t happen until beta 2 and there wasn’t an itunes compatible IPSW until about beta 6.

Does someone have a better memory of 2019?

Edit: Perhaps this should have been in the iOS 14 speculation thread.

Apple intentionally made it difficult for non-developers to install the 13.0 Dev Preview. They even included an unusual note of caution for "thrill seekers" not to install. Turns out...they were right!

My guess however is that this beta will be much more polished. Apple needs to put unlucky iOS 13 behind them and so they will probably ship a tightened up iOS 14. More importantly, they have had 3 additional weeks to work out the kinks!

Or Outlook...
Yea tried a ton and like Outlook best. Has a dark mode with black instead of the crappy gray and the badge and notifications always work. Just sometimes the mails take a few seconds to appear when I open it, but at least the badge shows when there is new mail and is gone when there is no new mail.

I think a new beta 3 tonight. ??‍♂️? And 23nd the final ?
The odds of a beta on a Friday are pretty slim.

The odds of a beta on the Friday before WWDC, when all the engineers are getting ready for (or taping) presentations and they are trying to make sure the iOS 14 beta is ready to is practically zero.

See you all Monday at 3pm EDT over in the iOS 14 forums!

iOS 13...signing off!

I'm an outlook user as well. I love it. But I have an unusual situation. ALL of my mail is from an exchange server. I have an O365 account with exchange online and 2 "webmail" accounts from Microsoft. One Outlook.com and one Hotmail.com. Most people don't know this but they are hosted on an exchange server as well.
So for me, Outlook is wonderful. It's really the very best client if you use exchange mail.

Remember that in this time there is a reallocation of time and effort, and the number of developers on each project. Less people on 13 and more on 14. 13 continues but gets slower due to less available manpower. The real action is moving to 14.

I am also outlook user, my accounts are gmail and yahoo. I start using outlook since iOS 13 just to avoid mess up with bugs in apple mail. One thing I can not understand in outlook why the download size is hundred mb just for email client.

Four :)

Apple have had close to a year to fix the issues in iOS13 and they've not bothered, so there's no point in installing more betas once 14 is out. Let's see if they're capable of actually controlling their development teams so that they work on fixing bugs, rather than only ignoring them and coding new features.

I expect an highly stable iOS 14 beta 1 build, as we know that they changed control quality. Hope so. But I think I'll be disappointed...
