Oh just stop with the snark. He’s not bringing anyone down! It’s a speculation thread. That’s the whole idea! He’s allowed to say anything he likes regarding when he SPECULATES a new beta will be dropped!
There is no doubt it’s coming today I speculate.

The problem isn't the speculation, the problem is that @dan9700 tries to give off the aura of some kind of "in the know" with inside information, that's what the problem is.

No, that’s why I was expecting it this week although not on Wednesday. I thought it would be Monday or Tuesday.
Yes there was, when it didn't come out Monday or Tuesday.
That's what I said, there could be 2 weeks between GM being finalised & loaded onto the device, then being shipped.
That happened once and it was to patch a bug... The norm is Monday or Tuesday and the statement was that there was never any doubt as if a Wednesday or later release was guaranteed.... The fact that it wasn't out Monday or Tuesday cast some doubt.
Seems like I remember the last beta being the GM a week or so before the event. Anyone else remember that ?
GM is not a beta, and the GM is always after the event. iOS 12 was, as per my earlier post, iOS 11 was released on Sept 12th, with the iPhone event being the same day. iOS 10 GM was 8th Sept with the iPhone 7 event being Sept 7th. iOS 9 GM was 10th Sept with the iPhone 6s event being Sept 9th. iOS 8 GM was 9th September, with the iPhone 6 event being the same day. iOS 7 & the iPhone 5s event both on September 10th.
Therefore, there's enough track record for iOS GM to be out on same day, or within a couple days after, the new iPhone event.

If they're going to stick to exactly a week between releases it'll probably be Wednesday, I prefer Monday tho, it's a nice start to the week.
