What do u mean by “complete disaster”, as I’m seeing very little issues with it?
Same for me. Little to no issues. Depends on how one needs to use their macs of course but I’m totally happy with Catalina.

Some users are reporting 10 hour installs and other issues. I had tons of issues in earlier betas, now my issues are very few but still seeing many people have major issues.
Must be the very few then. Mine installed fine and didn’t take very long at all considering what all was involved. Put it on a MacBook not a desk unit

iMessage freezes on quit, extracting zip files causes freeze, Mail app is useless as of now, putting the MacBook Pro to sleep pretty much keeps it in that state until a hard restart.
Do you need more to be convinced?
(Now please don’t ruin this excellent iOS thread by replying saying that there are easy workarounds... real fixes are what we've been waiting for the last 15 days. It feels like Apple left us macOS beta testers standing in the rain—while it’s pouring down!)

Now that was a nice end to the macOS discussion on this thread, back to iOS 13 anyone?! :)

When do y’all think we’ll be seeing iOS 13 beta 7? I’m personally thinking it’ll be Monday to kinda reset the beta schedule.

Issues with iMessage and Mail doesn't make the OS "complete disaster", as there is much more to an OS than the apps. I am having issues with the Music app and listen to Music a lot, so it is a bit annoying, but does not mean it is complete disaster. I had a nasty bug with iCloud Drive which would corrupt and make lots of copies of my files, which was pretty severe issue, but that's the risks of running beta software. What is more, such stuff have always happened in the past with beta releases. For example, every year I have been having issues with iTunes, but, as you install beta software, you should be aware of that.

let’s not give up this week. Apple ‘could’ release beta 7 today. :)

Sure they could, the question is why would they?

In my experience, the current beta runs quite well with no major bugs, so it might actually be better if Apple use their time and energy into giving us a more “ripe” beta, rather than releasing something for the sake of it and then have people (well, at least our lot) spend their weekend complaining on the forums. :p

It feels like the iOS 13 subforum and new beta threads are just continuous comments that are somewhere along the lines of "the mail app is still beyond broken" "3D Touch got worst" "the automation tab is still gone in Shortcuts" sooo I think Apple releasing a new beta wouldn't help that too much unless everyone is satisfied with the mail app once again.

I'm not expecting a beta today we still have time for 2 more beta releases before the final release in mid September if they follow the same schedule as iOS 12. but again you never know with Apple they might surprise us !
hoping for a macOS Catalina beta too ;)

I’ll be surprised if they don’t release a beta this week, especially if Catalina goes another week without a beta.
