In case it helps to troubleshoot - 11 PM 512GB, did OTA download and install via dev profile. Been running betas since 14.0b1 and it's strange that it failed to update to this version.

Same. Mine has been at “Preparing Update” for a bit now.
 
Weird issue: about an hour after updating, my screen flashed and all my apps removed themselves from their perspective folders. I know have a lot of app pages with zero folders. I needed to reorganize but not this way.

First bug I’ve seen: was listening to Spotify earlier and the logo seems to have carried over to the YouTube content I’m watching on the Apple TV.

Trying to AirPlay content from the YouTube app to an Apple TV is super borked.
 
Hi can it be smoother than 14, I’m finding 14 to be fast and smooth? Also wish we had changes that would help like removing homebar lol or making widgets more interactive
 
It seems to be faster and smoother yet over 14GM for me. I’m not sure if it’s animation tweaks or what, but glad to see it.

14.2b1 finally fixed an annoying bug that showed me the Update Carrier Settings pop-up every time I went in Settings/About, since a few betas ago.

Looks like we can expect beta 2 next wee based on the release notes.

  • iPad (8th Generation) isn't currently supported in iOS & iPadOS 14.2 beta. Support will be added next week.

thank god. spatial audio is present on iPad Pro 10.5 in the beta

EDIT: nevermind i guess it’s only in the Bluetooth settings for Airpods, not for enabling it on the iPad itself. maybe it will get added in additional betas

Anybody else having trouble getting Control Center to come up/swipe away accurately? It seems like there’s something wonky going on with that touch area in the top right corner. I keep swiping thru my smart stack widget on the home screen when I’m trying to pull down CC.
 
I have Music Playback Issues with my Airpods 2 and iPhone X. It stutters and stops completely after a while.. Airpods are on the newest Firmware. Anyone else noticed that?
