Beta testing should typically start now to get it in Q1 unless it is in a minor x.x.xx firmware update.

It was supposedly "later this year", based on information from an internal Verizon slide (hard to say how official/finalized that might have been):

Feels smooth and responsive so far on my iPhone 12/iPad mini fifth-gen combo—shocking, I know.

With time I shall see and hopefully remember to report whether some responsiveness and interface issues (especially on iPad) have been resolved or introduced.

Weird, for some reason the “VZW Wi-Fi” signal now scrolls in the top left corner. Before, it was able to be displayed there without scrolling.

Perhaps some under-the-hood type of changes related to some new or updated APIs or something else of that nature, as those would result in a point release.

Simply bug fixes and tweaks would usually be more of smaller x.y.z type of bug fix releases, rather than a x.y point release.

I noticed several animations were a bit laggy after updating, it’s mostly smoothed out but I’m still seeing a few frame drops. iPhone XS Max.

Just tried and the only option in the Airplay sheet is AppleTV and not my Airplay compatible TV or Sky Q Boxed

They still haven’t fixed the now playing Lock Screen issue, the album title doesn’t scroll like it used to.

I’m beginning to think this is by design now
It’s a step backwards in my opinion.
