I’d almost given up on an update today, currently downloading for my 12.

Anyone know if there’s also a WatchOS beta update as well?

Just installed iOS 14.5 beta 3 installed so far zero issues

In the Music app, the little circle that you grab to slide volume up/down is gone whenever you open the Now Playing window and then it pops up a second later.

watchOS betas often (but not always) lag iOS by a day; possibly because of dependencies on the corresponding iOS beta build, so they give devs an opportunity to update their paired iPhones before the watchOS beta hits.

Surprised that the “Show Complete Album” prompts are still missing from Apple Music. I was sure that was a bug and that the prompts would return in this beta. Interesting.

All my messages work to android to and iPhone zero issues! Everything works no issues

Music seems to do a better job of resuming after watching a video on Twitter or Instagram or something.

Still too early to really say, but music often didn’t resume correctly after watching some sort of content with audio, and now it seems to be working correctly.

Might want to do hard reboot and try again sometimes 2/3 reboots things fix some how

Yeah I think this is just a bug fix update we got spoiled with the first 2 betas

Most annoying bug… been happening for me since 14.0 Beta 1. I have submitted feedback every beta since. Might have to wish for a fix in IOS 15 at this point in time.

Yeah, there are bugs dating back to iOS 12 that I’ve just given up on. Sucks.

Working ok for me here with physical BT SIM on WiFi calling.

eSIM on EE is also ok for WiFi calling

I don't know if I trust any software from Apple in the last 12-months. Before upgrading to the 12-max, I had the XS-max, and they are both still hanging on iMessage, Contacts, and the Phone app. Screen freeze being the most common issue. I thought that Apple would've been able to sort this out by now. It doesn't happen all the time, but it's still quite annoying.

Just updated to iPadOS 14.5 PB2 on my first generation iPad Pro. App Store crashes immediately upon launch, every time.

Already reported to Apple via the feedback app.

Anyone else?

This seems to be fixed in PB3 for me.
