On Beta 2, I had this really annoying bug where my AirPods would "switch" from my iPhone to my iPad (and vice versa) when I would unlock one of the devices. If I was playing a movie on my iPad and then simply unlocked my phone it would pause the movie and then switch priority to the iPhone. Only way to keep this from happening was to disable bluetooth on the "other" device so it wouldn't connect. Hoping beta 3 fixes this behavior.

If you guys have ios 14.5 B3 installed let know about performance (apps like amazon twitter ) or overall stuter is fixed ?

Are the raised blacks fixed? Please check in photos and when watching a video in any app, bringing up the UI. You’ll see green raised blacks flash in the black bars. Thanks

If i post about performance i saw in reddit long time ago that google maps lags a lot, twitter have litte stutter ( i know its for ios update but maybe its fixed)

I’ll wait and see if the bugs in iOS 14.x are fixed when 14.5 goes final. So far it’s just more of the same - the odd new feature, this time the air tags in find my and no fixes for bugs that have been around a while. Airbags will make Apple more money though won’t they. Fixing messaging bugs amongst others doesn’t make money. Fingers crossed for 14.5 final. If the bugs that have persisted through iOS 14, some even further back than that aren’t fixed I’m going to try a Pixel 5. I haven’t been impressed with either my 12 pro max or iOS 14 so far. That’s a sad statement for a phone worth over £1200. But hey, Apple are supposedly protecting my privacy. I only started using the iOS 14 betas in the hopes the battery drain on my 12pm and other issues would be fixed. I’m getting apps crashing, no notifications for messages and more bugs. These bugs have been present on stable builds too.

Man, this is really a buggy beta. Doubt this will be out for general release for another 3-4 weeks. Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s April unless they make some huge improvements in the next couple of betas.
Apple will want this out quickly after their March event to get the £££ from those air tags and the new air tags feature in find my. I’m guessing the rest of the bugs will have to wait. iOS 13 was full of bugs. Mail was unusable for me for most of last year. Now, iOS 14 isn’t any better. Worse is the fact people are installing the beta in the hopes bugs from the stable build will be fixed.

I don’t see anything changed at all, not bad not good, it’s all the same for me for now

Remote app is back to working in this beta.

edit: nevermind, doesn’t crash anymore but scrolling is messed up.

I’ve had no problems with this and I airplay every day to a stereo pair. What problems are you having out of curiosity?
With beta 2 when I airplay from my iPhone the volume messed up when I click up it went down and on macos the delay is out of sync and when I paused a video the audio carried on playing for a few seconds

Yeah but usually by the time we get to .5 the bugger bugs are ironed out. There seems to be a bunch in this beta.
