iOS 14.5 Beta 4 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

It only lasts for a second and seems to be completely random. Sorry, but I’m not gonna take a screen shot every time I enter a conversation thread in the hopes that the bug shows up.
I mean, why would I lie about it?
I’m on an iPhone 12 mini, for what it’s worth.

First time my phone updates itself plugged in! And my iMac 2015 late 5k did the same. Auto update worked great. Didn’t even know the update was out. I was busy with home crap and if I didn’t check this website would have never known.

Here’s a screen shot. The app tray/ message bar will flash every so quickly before you can start typing. Happens a lot for me when the last message in the thread is a picture but as previously stated… it’s super random! I have went back and forth 10-20 times and it doesn’t happen then it will 4-5 times in a row. Not like it’s hurting anything just visually weird to see. 👍🏼 Happens in both dark/light mode too. A lot of time in group chats but again.. super random. Have submitted feedback ever since IOS 14 Beta 1. iPhone 12 PM.

I mean, it’s a bug. It’s up to the individual to decide how much it impacts their life. I don’t lose sleep over it, but it’s annoying to see.
No its not a huge bug but it's extremely visible and seen by millions all the time. It's not a good look for the brand. It's also been persistent for awhile so it's understandable to have the expectation that it should be fixed by now.
My office 365 account stopped working? Says password is missing info to put in the password the window opens and closes? All other computer and via web office 365 works? Anyone have this issues,

Attention office 365 is down world wide! Authentication issues. So if you uodsted to beta 4 just now and your office 365 is down. Has nothing to do with the beta.
It happens at the same time lol. Freaked me and I said damn it just my luck and 5 min later got office 365 alert that they are down and you cannot authenticate at all

Good call - it seems to happen much more often when the last message in the thread is a picture, gif, video, link, etc.
I can reproduce it very often now.
I've been having this issue for most of the iOS/iPadOS 14 cycle on both my iPhone 12 Pro and my iPad Pro 11in. Usually just quitting the Messages app and going back in again, or even swiping out of that specific message thread and back again.. So annoying.
Would be nice, like androids security updates but keep your OS. Idk apple always want you to have latest IOS or Mac OS, tv is etc etc
