Enjoy all the fixes they've listed since beta 6!

Still waiting for them to fix do not disturb. If you long press the do not disturb button in control center and choose “until morning” or evening or whatever, the icon never shows that is is activated.

I’ve reported this back in October 2020. So annoying
Just tested this, moon icon is available in control center, and the do not disturb notification appears on my home screen :/

Also experiencing plenty of AirPlay issues with Spotify and HomePods. It is so annoying and Apple is not reacting (not even acknowledging) the issues reported in the feedback app.
I'm really annoyed by that.
Same for connecting to SMB (3) shares on BigSur beta. They messed it up somehow and just dont care. Not very "pro-" or generally customer-friendly...

Not exactly an iOS issue, but I figure someone might be able to answer my question here - Why exactly does the YouTube app not have pip functionality yet? Is it just because Google is playing douchebag or is there some other valid reason?
Goggle isn’t willing to support it, it seems. Even premium users don’t have the feature.

Don't worry... I'm on it!
I have bad news for you. Lol

I just now had the disappearing text field in the Messages app on my iPad. Force quit, went back into Messages, now I get the floating Keyboard while I’m connected to my Apple Smart Keyboard. Not seeing much “smart” happening here.

I know it currently works in the chrome browser if you want to try that? But yeah I think Google are trying to purposely break it, as it’s one of their paid for ‘premium’ features I think… like background music listening.

Do you regularly drain your phone to under 20% or use it till it's dead? Try to avoid doing that, if you do so. Keeping your charge between 20-80% is the most ideal way to remain at a higher health percentage as it doesn't decay the battery as much.
I rarely go below 20-25% and only have (according to the log from yesterday) 87 complete charge cycles on this thing. Well below where it should be dropping max battery capacity like this.

I opened a feedback req on it on beta 7 and almost immediately it updated to having "more than 10" similar requests so it seems to be a known issue.

If they don't fix it soon I can always take it in and have them replace the battery while it's under the 1 year mark.

Thanks for replying. I do have YouTube premium, I have had it for a while, mainly because I hate ads & sometimes background playback comes in handy. Pip works in safari, and I'm pretty sure its a premium feature there, because if I try to play anything in incognito, the pip just stops. But the way they're not supporting the app itself is pretty annoying. On safari the max res for any video is 1080p. It doesn't really matter if I'm watching in pip but I think they should at least provide the feature on their app, especially if they're asking customers to pay for it.

You have to be a paying customer. So yeah, douchebag.
