that’s like saying here’s your new sports car Mr Pears, but drive it in reverse and you’ll save on fuel. 😆😂
It can't get any worse with iOS 15 can it? 😅 Should've saved my money and purchased a iPhone mini, since my iPhone 12 Pro Max is getting the same battery life as the little fella. 😂

I’ve noticed that using airplay to connect to the TV will cause overheating (occasionally) so it might be related to the battery drain as well.

I've had a possibly related issue since updating to 14.6...

It's the Apple Music app. Super-slow for screens to update in response to input. Up to 3 seconds, it feels like. And it pauses the audio every 3 seconds for about half a second streaming my local radio station. When my iPhone enters this state, some other apps seem to be similarly affected: chiefly, MyFitnessPal. Not all apps are, though. Only way I've found to fix this is to reboot the phone. Seems to occur once every few days.. (It's occurred twice since I updated my iPhone, and I see 14.6 only went GA on 5/24, or 8 days ago...).
If anyone cares, my weird audio & app pausing thing appears to have been related to the lightning Ear Pods. My issue could be fixed temporarily by unplugging and replugging them in. Issue never occurred when the Ear Pods were unplugged. Apple Support wanted me to do a factory reset . Wasn't prepared to do that, but tried doing a "Reset All Settings" (vs "Erase All Content and Settings") and affter about a week, that seems to have fixed it...

Was this related to iOS 14.6? I have no idea...

tl;dr - if you are having weird audio pausing and app pausing issues, maybe "Reset All Settings" can help...

The battery life is a Desaster. The iPhone gets suddenly warm and battery is increasing. My phone is charged until 87% and in the settings it shows that it hasn’t been charged.

Dolby Atmos songs are suddenly stop playing with the AirPods Pro all the time. I’ve downloaded the songs and reconnected the AirPods but it didn’t help.

This will solve your battery and overheating problem 😃

I think that they messed up the speakers with iOS 14.6, my phone never dropped and suddenly the audio while listening to music is the ********* ever (tried with Apple Music, with youtube, both on my iPhone (XS) and on other with iOS 14.6). Can anyone confirm that?

No, 14.6 works fine her with Apple Music and Youtube. I use some other streaming apps for radio and they all works fine. Both via speakers and via headset.

Via headset (AirPods) everything is fine, with internal speakers (both top and bottom) the audio is distorted with volume over 70-80%

Bug with the disappearance of Siri suggestions.
1. Enter something in the search
2. Lock the screen
3. Unlock and open the search

Hey bud,

I saw the same post for the following iOS builds. Can you please advise which build you are seeing this issue?

iOS: 14.6, 14.7b3, and 15b1

Problem since 14.0 beta 1
I am running 14.4.2 but works just fine here. This is what I did to try to reproduce what you are saying;

1. Typed "test" without ""
2. Locked phone
3. Unlocked phone
4. Wen't to search, all of the widgets are present as designed

There were several interesting bugs that came out with 14.5, some were not resolved as of 14.6, this is why I stayed put, haha. Might be a bug but could be a glitch to. I am not telling you to do so as it is a pain but I am definitely curious to see how many other people have this issue, or if a "restore defaults" resolves it.

On reddit other people have the same issue, I don't think all of us broke the speakers the same day

I just noticed a strange issue.

Based on whether I tilt my phone up or down it appears as if the gamma is changing between 2.2 and 2.4. Of course I don’t know if the gamma is actually changing and if it is, to what value. But it looks as if that’s the case and this is the best way to describe what I’m seeing. It occurs with True Tone on or off.

/ = phone with this orientation is the “2.2 gamma”

\ = phone with this orientation is the “2.4 gamma”

Someone else please try. Use dark mode with a grayish screen and focus on the grey. It will get lighter and darker.

Thanks

I‘m missing a lot of incoming notifications (WhatsApp, Reddit etc.) where they simply don‘t come through for new content. I reinstalled iOS 14.6 and started fresh, which worked for 1-2 days before the issue came back.

Anyone also having missing notifications? Only started to happen with 14.6.
