Wow, that was fast, haha. I assume this is to fix the iphone lock bug but any official changes yet?

Most people don’t have a iPhone with Touch ID so this update isn’t to exciting for us

As far as features, you are probably right but it does mention security changes. Probably for the Pegassus issue.

My phone was downloading it and now it’s gone and says 14.7 is up to date

My iphone 12 mini with faceid has been so sporadic with unlocking my apple watch ever since I updated my watch to 7.6. I heard that this update doesn't really help that. It used to work every time and instantly, but now it doesn't. Now it takes 2 or 3 tries to get it to work.

Edit: Still BARELY works. If I mess with my phone for a while and swipe down from the top a few times it will eventually unlock, but that seems way harder than typing in my passcode.

I just posted what follows on the wrong tread , so here I go again :

My iPhone 12 Pro after initial reboot had a horrible yellow tint to it ( I just saw it was the same for my husband’s XS)
After rebooting again everything went back to normal. No problem on iPad.

Same here with my iPhone 12 and Apple Watch 6.

If I disable the Apple Watch « face mask » unlock feature, unlocking the watch is fast and reliable as usual. As soon as I enable this feature, it takes 2 or 3 tries to unlock the watch with my iPhone…

Problem is there since iOS 14.7 and WatchOS 7.6… don’t know which OS is the cause…

Any one faced this type of problem (Battery issue) with 14.7.1 ?
Keep an eye on it to see if it keeps dropping. I know that when someone updates their iOS version, the system re-evaluates the battery heath once complete, it is very possible that the number was at 99% before, just didn't update the number that shows up in settings for it.

Good catch. If I turn off face mask id, my watch unlocks every time, but there's no notification about it.

Right: no notification and (of course) no more face mask unlock…

Unregistering my watch and register it again, is not the solution…

@ZeeDD @Jayson A Same issue with unlock Apple Watch. With face mask unlock OFF, it unlocks the Apple Watch without notification. With face mask unlock ON, it takes 3-4 tries before the Apple Watch will unlock, with notification.

I tried removing the watch and adding it again but that doesn't work. Toggling the features on/off doesn't work either. Looks like it's still broken for Face ID phones. As far as I can recall, it started happening during one of the last beta's of 14.7.

I guess we'll get a 14.7.2 at some point.

For me, everything was working perfectly until I actually updated my watch to 7.6. That's specifically when it broke.
