Battery - IPP 11 2020
Now that I have been on this beta about a week I figure the battery use should be fairly stable.
Good news. Over the last three days I have been averaging 10-11 hours on a full charge. Not the greatest battery life for this device but not bad and better than 14.6.x

No, I am waiting patiently for Beta 2 because I had never issues with batt life but since this beta my iPhone 12 pro needs to be recharged after 4 hours. And I cannot see what is responsible for this.Think a lot of these battery drain issues have to do with this site. 🥺

Same here. My iPhone 12 Pro battery life has been awful and hoping that Beta 2 (or 3) will improve it. My Watch battery life is terrible as well.

I do most of my MacRumors reading/posting on my ThinkPad. At least for me it is not this site.
Yep, it’s only happening on iOS/iPadOS devices I’m already up 40m battery life on my iPad since I haven’t been using the site and forum. No issues on macOS.
Doubt we'll see public beta 2 now, we'll go straight to beta 3, if not tomorrow, then next week.
That’s two weeks of nothing then potentially for the public’s. 🙄

I don’t know if this is coincidence or not, but for the last few days my battery has been killed by using this forum within tapatalk. My phone gets really hot, the battery dies and it gets so slow that dictation fails to work (within tapatalk). I have to restart my phone to get it working again.
Wish I knew also. Even that issue seems to have quieted down. That and no talk as to what even changed from 1 to 2.
That is the only thing I am aware of.
I am surprised that Apple has not rolled out an updated beta that addresses that.
they just care about 15, which is piss poor management. “let’s just focus on the shiny new button” left hanging. Rubbish feeling. 🤬
It ain't a coincidence, didn't use these forums or site yesterday on my iPhone and iPad, it was the first time in a long time that I finished the day with 50% battery life on my iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPad battery was also a lot better, definitely a issue with this site/forum draining the heck out of our iOS/iPadOS devices. Must be all these video ads 🤬
Jumped on here last night for a couple of minutes on my iPad, surprise surprise, battery dropped 3% in 2 minutes. 🤦♂️
Apparently the owner of the site is looking into it. Won't be using my iPhone and iPad on this site anymore, my battery ends up draining as fast as a samsung phone. 🤦♂️

when I say fine, its still got its bugs, but was getting better.
