Ok. I am going full in on the App Library and 2 widget pages. I’ll give this a try for a week to see if the system surfaces what I need most of the time.

Same. I try to give major new features a try for the whole beta period. So far, I’m liking it and I’m also using Spotlight a lot more.

Library isn’t perfect, I really wish it was accessed from somewhere else. I’ve seen a suggestion which I repeated that it be changed to a pull down on the widget screen. It probably goes against Apples design theory, but moving there would allow easy access fir those who still want to have several homepages. Personally, I find it less useful if I have more than one home page

did somebody find a workoround for the weather widget not to default back to cuperino?
1. Bring up the widget window.
2. Hold and press weather widget until you see a menu.
3. Let go of the window and click on "Edit Weather"
4. On the location (within the weather widget) change the location to your desired city.

That's the answer to the wrong question. The real question is how to make the weather widget understand that we don't all live in Cupertino... How do we force the weather widget to use the actual "current location" and NOT always tell us about Timmy's back yard?

Hi all - just registered to be a part of MR and already trying out the iOS 14-Beta. 🙌

So far - so good. All apps are working (even banking apps), except the german Corona-tracing-app. Some translations of new features are missing.

Noticed some minor bugs, but nothing serious:
  • weather-widget springs back to Cupertino regularly when not in Cupertino
  • some widgets turn sometimes white or without any content (just the "grid"), when changing the iOS-font-size
  • the pagination-bullets in the weather-app are not correctly shown, when using a smaller-than-standard iOS-font-size
  • a tap on the "Tracking"-tab in Safaris Tracking Report is just doing nothing
Everything reported in the feedback-app, of course. Let's see how quick Apple is going to fix things. :)

One more thing to a issue stated in the first post:

  • You cannot select multiple emails by 'swiping' them while under 'Edit' mode in Mail.app.

Actually you can - go in edit mode and swipe with TWO fingers through the emails you want to select. That will work. (And if I remember correctly, that's the way you can do it in iOS 13, too.)

Set Privacy - Location for Weather App to be on???

After you open it once and go back to Privacy - Location, a choice for "Always" shows up.
It could be a bug.

FYI - I had clicked "Ask Next Time" before going back and checking "Always"

Here's what macOS Big Sur new app icons look on the iPhone 👀

I would accept this changes?

My weather widget did that a few times the first day of the new beta but has been OK since using GPS to find my location. I find the smaller weather widget seems to work better in that regard.

Found a very small bug and reported it. In messages when you tab on a received or send Memoji sticker and pinch out to close it again, you'll be taken back to the conversation but the input fields don't appear again.
It works fine when you tap on done instead of pinch out.

that takes like 15 minutes 😅 I do that once every month anyway
It took a little more than 15 minutes but it was worth it. I was showing less than 4gb available before this exercise and now I am showing over 27gb. Thanks for the info.

Can anyone confirm if there is a widget for 'Find My' - find my friends had a widget from iOS 8 to iOS 12 and Apple deleted it for no apparent reason in iOS 13.

Also wondering if files on iPad OS 14 has any improvements, like the ability to download entire folders, the ability to search within documents and the ability to either 'optimise iPad storage' with iCloud Drive or choose to have the entire thing download?
