Any new ringtones in iOS 14?
They typically don't release features like that (and sometimes wallpapers) until the general release...but haven't heard any rumors of any.
Any new ringtones in iOS 14?
Already reported this but curious if anyone else has the problem: The 2nd issue I have had so far is dictation. Dictating texts or emails which I do frequently especially if they are longer than usual does not work at all. The option in settings is enabled and I have done a factory reset. Just wondering if anyone else has any issues with dictation. SE2020
Not sure how much traffic you're going to get posting in this thread. You might want to try the current beta thread.I am having this problem now. Originally thought it was a bug in Duolingo working with the beta. Yesterday i found that dictation is broken everywhere, including native Apple apps.
When i hit the microphone, the recording opens and immediately closes. In my case it is the current public Beta (Beta 5 i believe, just noticed build number is not viewable any longer in the about tab) and on an iPhone 11 Pro.
Have you resolved it, or found a workaround?
I'll report it today.

Hey, Guy's, I'm new here, and I'm always wondering if a beta-version is safe? to install on your iPhone? Since I know that people do so? Is it safe when you have a back-up of your iPhone?
Thanks for answering! Do you always install a beta-version on your iPhone or Mac?Yes it is, for the most part. The key is having an archived backup, which you need to make by using iTunes (PC) or Finder (Mac). Follow the instructions here: https://www.imore.com/how-make-archived-backup-your-iphone-or-ipad
If you don’t archive the backup of your device while its still on iOS 13, the first backup your device makes on iOS 14 will overwrite that.
Then you need to know how to restore your phone to iOS 13 if something goes wrong (having the archived backup doesn’t help much if you can’t restore it!). For instructions on that, see this article: https://www.imore.com/how-to-downgrade-ios
By the way, this thread is the online equivalent of a ghost-town, as it is for iOS 14.0 beta 1. As each different iOS beta is released, a new thread is started. Posting in these old threads will probably not get you too much help usually. This thread has not been active since late June for the most part.
Right now, for iOS 14.0 beta 8, the active thread is here: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/ios-14-beta-8-bug-fixes-changes-and-improvements.2253528/
Note, iTunes for Windows doesn't actually allow you to archive backups.Yes it is, for the most part. The key is having an archived backup, which you need to make by using iTunes (PC) or Finder (Mac). Follow the instructions here: https://www.imore.com/how-make-archived-backup-your-iphone-or-ipad
Correct of course, and that's why I always create a copy of my Apple Backup Folder thru Finder and store in a different location on the PC or remote drive.Note, iTunes for Windows doesn't actually allow you to archive backups.

Yeah, I understand! I also think it's a little bit tricky especially with the mac.Usually on my iPhone and iPad. Not so often on Mac. I view that as a bit riskier.
