Had a bug where pulling down on the home screen to search / get siri suggestions would just blur the screen. Spotlight still worked on the widget and app library screens. Had to restart to fix.
There seems to be a bug when using the Search feature by pulling down on the home screen. You can’t swipe it away after pulling down and lifting your thumb without waiting for the keyboard to slide all the way out.

Something is up with the Search feature.
Was in Portrait and flipped to Landscape. During the flip Search came up. After a couple of seconds Search went away. Even though I was still in Landscape, the display flipped back to Portrait. Has happened a couple of times in the last day. If I am somehow triggering Search I am at a loss as to how.

What do you think we will see in iOS 14 Beta 2?

Bugs? :p

Hadn’t seen this one before...
No celular signal or data, restart fixed it.
I get this also once a day at random. Rebooting would fix it. Sprint iPhone 11 Pro Max.

I've noticed unlocking into iMessage pretty often puts it into edit mode, asking to select threads for deletion.

I have a question. I have access to my Test iCloud account again. I’ve created it last year for the betas. Is it possible to install the beta with that ID but use my primary Apple ID for the feedback app?

Hey guys. Can anyone tell me if thumbnails are showing for files with SMB shares in the files app? Thumbails don't show in iOS 13.

Thank you. I’ve asked because my Apple TV installed the beta without asking me. BetaUpdates were disabled. Don’t know how to downgrade the 4K version.

You cant on Apple TV - that’s strange my 2 Apple TV 4K boxes only download public beta’s automatically - installing the 14 beta profile on them is quite a task and it won’t update to TVos14 without it

Must be a bug. But seems like apps that are on the homescreen can be deleted from the app library, but the others that are only in the app library can't be deleted without first being added to the homescreen.

I was just messing around in the app library if you hold your finger in between the app folders it'll allow you delete within the app library

My watch has all of a sudden stopped receiving notifications. This is kind of annoying.

Mine does that pretty much every other day

It’s weird. I have only downloaded the developer beta profile from betaprofiles on my old iPhone and all my Apple TV’s wanted to download the beta. Beta updates disabled but my 4K just downloaded it over night.

That’s really really strange!

Going to drop a spare thought on the App Library ...

Biggest first impression: This thing needs a lot of work.
It put half my banking apps under "Productivity"
It put two thirds of my purchasing/shopping apps (Vons, Ralphs, Google Earth, Jimmy Johns etc..) under "Lifestyle".
It put a separate Calculator app under Education but none of my online course apps
It put my online class apps under Health and Fitness
It put two of my five games under games
Some apps aren't in the library at all

It created 14 folders(?) including one using my full name as the title - all in lower case.
... and Feedback is all lonesome in one called "Other".

Yeah ... it needs work. o_O

I've had betas on my devices for years and never had the huge problem that my iPad Pro 11 2020 is having now. It did the restart on its own but is stuck in the reboot. I've tried to force restart it and it didn't do anything. What else can I do? Do I just need to let the battery deplete then recharge? Or am I out of luck? I've never had this happen before and I am very worried.

My 2020 Outback just got an update to its infotainment system to allow Portrait CarPlay. IOS 14 CarPlay does a few things, like moving the taskbar to the bottom of the screen, the icons seem a little bigger too. Also the music app shows album art again vs blurring it out with CarPlay on iOS 13.

I’m having the same issue. Can’t seem to pin point it. Just did a fresh install today and still having it. I didn’t notice it happen more frequently while charging versus not. Seems to be completely sporadic.
Idk if yours got any better, but mine got worse.
