Saw that too, but it was resolved. At least on my iPad Pro. The iPhone is still installing.

yep I use it to move my cursor on the keyboard on my XS Max of to switch between profiles on Instagram

3D Touch hasn't been removed and still works on phones that support it (at least through iOS 13 and seemingly up to this iOS 14 beta).

Yes it does unlike on Apple Watches where they completely removed Force Touch for some reason.

Can seem to be another way of getting a section of people accustomed to living without 3D Touch for one or two weeks. Their next iPhone is not going to support 3D Touch if their current one does, and this week-long or fortnight-long training will help.

On that subject, I have grown accustomed to using 3D Touch on the keyboard to navigate the cursor between characters and words. Sometimes, my finger obstructs the view if I want to pick the cursor and drop it anywhere else as I would have to do on newer devices.

They did remove it, and yes it still does work for phones with the hardware for it. What I was talking about was the fact that it was fully disabled, as in I have to use Haptic Touch despite having the functionality for 3D Touch, which is faster.
