I definetly dont have the app store issue :O ive been on 15 , 15.0.1 since release and now on 15.0.2 and still dont have that
you do, but you just dont notice it, every device with iOS 15 has it even the beta tried it on loads, its not smooth at all and reachability is 60hz not 120

Don’t think mine is stuttering?
It is most definetly a stutter there. After you pulled to refresh and the screen comes back up that is where the stutter is. Everyone has it, most people dont even notice it. I have been on ios since the first iphone was released so I notice things like this.

I´m stil having problem with the writing text field covering the latest messages in Message when using Magic Keyboard on my iPad. Jeez Apple! this have been reported since iPadOS 15 beta and they also marked with "potential fix identified" which is not true.
Is that in landscape or portrait orientation? On my iPad Pro I have not seen that at all, but it’s always in landscape.

I’m back on 15.1 (because it turned out I have scratches on my screen, not cracks, so it couldn’t be repaired) and I still have the same stutter, but it’s just a slight stutter. No issues with App Store search and a lot of the other things listed seem to affect mostly the iPhone 13 line, from what I’ve seen on here. Safari has been fine but I did just experience a bit of typing lag earlier in this post. 😒

That’s more of a “hitch” than a “stutter” 🤣🤣🤣 iOS sucks, android just sucks worse haha! Not sure how apple can employ thousands of software engineers and still have this many small bugs in their software…

When you throw in 3½ months of developer betas and 3 months of public betas... makes you wonder what those thousands of engineers do all day long. And sorry, but this is on Timmy and Federighi... they drive this ship, and allow the same crapppy OS to seep out every September.

iOS 15 is basically iOS 14 with some minimal improvements. What were they working on for the past year to then release alpha software to the public? 🤣🤣
They’re the kings of “look at all these cool new features but hold on cause we can’t get them to work yet”. Just like it took them “multiple years of development” to put a new screen in a iPhone 12 and call it a 13 🤦‍♂️

I’m still trying to figure what is meant by ”stuttering”. Haven’t seen anything that would meet such a description on my 13 Pro Max or iPad Pro, on the App Store anyway. If as mentioned most people just don’t notice then it would appear to not be much of an issue. Don’t have any battery percentage issue either on my 13 Pro Max which has been restarted multiple times since I got it. I’m not saying there isn’t such an issue just that I haven’t seen it. 15 is still kinda rough but that’s been the pattern for a while till the .1 release. This is actually better than most of the earlier ones, especially ios 11, that was absolutely horrible, even on the new devices that were released with it installed. This is worlds better than that one.

I posted a video of it a few posts up #79. When refreshing for updates it kinda goes back to its natural place at the top after a pull to refresh but then jumps down again before going back up. Kinda hard to explain but it isn’t a big deal at all

The issue of the wrong count of pending updates is still there... I just checked... is showed 7 apps... one updated, and the count remained at 7 (with 6 apps remaining to be updated) ... the count continued to report one higher than the actual number of apps to be updated until it was done... then the count number simply goes from 2 to null.

We don't need no steenkeen attention to detail - it's iOS.

Something does not make any sense with what is going on with issues happening in iOS 15. Some issues are happening to some people and not others. For instance, I have encountered the touch response issue, where the screen will not register a touch. Some people have told me they don't have the issue. And other issues such as the storage calculation issue, I am not experiencing. There are other cases like this as well. So what gives here.

This phenomenon often appears in the betas... it's often attributed to different combinations of various apps, and different use cases... but not sure that's a valid explanation. Of course it could also be somewhat determined by device and configuration... but it does seem strange to see so many reports of this in the released version of iOS 15...

I just don't get it. The touch issue is not app related, one person experiences the issue and another does not. The storage calculation is another case. And that is not app related either. Both those are attributed to the OS. It is just weird that so many variances are occurring at the sam time.

No, I posted what I posted because it's my experience. Period. Good on you that you didn't experience the CarPlay FUBAR. Clearly you don't use CarPlay... so as with most things, YMMV. But don't dismiss my concerns (and comments) as a non-issue just because you don't want to use those features and therefore haven't experienced those problems.
I think this is a little harsh. I can’t say whether he intended to belittle or discount your opinion, but that wasn’t how I interpreted it in terms of tone. I use CarPlay any time I navigate with Apple Maps. It’s just easier for my old eyes to see. I’ve had zero issues on my 13 Pro

Yep, pulling down for updates is still very hit and miss, sometimes it’s flawless, sometimes it hangs for a while. 🤦‍♂️
I tested this fairly extensive earlier. Not seeing it at all.
What about this crap? 32 pages long, apple hasn’t addressed it or said anything about it. 🤦‍♂️ These tech sites are useless as well, most of their articles are trash, they never want to get on apple bad side.

I’ve rebooted my phone several times, at least three since I’ve had it. All three have been for OTA updates. Never seen anything other than stellar battery performance. No heat issues I’ve seen others mention either.
I agree with you but I don't think that it is a wide audience that is affected. Either way, it needs to be fixed. Personally, I cannot say since I have a 12 and don't have such issues outlined here. All I can say is to hold on and just wait it out, not like there is much of anything else that can be done.
Nothing other than updating to the vastly superior iOS 15.1 beta 3 build currently available to download. Other than that, yeah not much you can do. 🤷‍♂️
No safari issues here. Maybe your connection, dodgy Wi-Fi router? 😝
Would you happen to be on 15.1, Honorable Groot?

Not seeing the touch issue on 15.1. I’ve heard it’s common in YouTube but not seeing it at all.

Storage bug is a nasty one. Looks okay here though:

I’m not discounting anybody’s experiences here. Simply stating as fact with evidence that 15.1 will likely fix the issues that are plagueing so many folks that are, for whatever reason, cautious about installing beta software even though the results are 100% reversible.

Strap on a pack, situate your goggles and jump.

Were you experiencing the touch issue in 15.0 or 15.0.1?
Nah, not that I recall. It’s possible but I’m not super sensitive to stuff like that. I’ve got a wedding in two weeks. No time to worry about a stutter here or there when I would never notice it if I wasn’t here helping out and learning.

I had the storage issue as well. Saw the same “Zero” for system usage. My 128gb 12 Pro was showing a bar graph maybe a fifth full including all of my local storage but the readout was something like 104 used, 18 free. I should have taken a screenshot.

Please do me a favor and go to the app store and check for app updates and please let me know if it stutters. It still stutters for me.
When I do this it jumps down a millimetre or so then up again - is that what you're referring to? If so, I've only noticed it because you mentioned it. I don't see what the fuss is about.
