Thanks for the update. Question, has anyone with a 2021 iPad Pro noticed MacRumors draining battery excessively fast? I dropped 13% in 40 minutes simply reading the forums this morning and my iPad was hot. Currently on 15.2 Beta 1. Also, I noticed the arrow keys to fast forward and rewind do not work in the YouTube app with Magic Keyboard-not sure if anyone else is having that issue either. I realize these are super trivial issues but just checking.

Universal control coming in 2022 at this rate, why talk about it if it’s not even ready, they had nothing exciting to talk about macOS 12 so they spoke about universal control and even that they can’t deliver
Apple said a couple years ago that tentpole features will be rolled out over the year of the OS, so anything announced at WWDC will be part of MacOS 12, but not explicitly in 12.0, could be in 12.3 or even 12.6 if they want.

Based on your post, I think you might have missed that.

the problem was on IOS14 as well. Solution was, at least for me to use another browser. But have not noticed it os IOS 15.2 beta 1. Updating to beta 2 later to day.

Seeing the MK Key issue on my IPP11 2020 version. Happening in a few apps.
Not seeing the heating issue though ... crossing fingers.

This thread has some questions/answers to heat issues:

Does the feature page still say “this Fall”?
As of right now, every paragraph in the Universal Control section of the macOS Monterey page has a little footnote that says "Available later this fall".

I’m curious to see if iOS is causing any of the game performance issues, I’ve had terrible lag and overheating in Genshin on the 2021 iPad Pro since launch that continues to get worse

Could be the game, worth reporting to the game developers, maybe there's something with iOS 15 they need to account for.

Is it public or dev beta this one?

running 15.2 beta 1 obe my air 3 but don’t se beta 2 yet.

It's actually smoother for me now than iOS 14.x Calendar with Exchange ActiveSync was.

If it makes you guys feel better … I’m the guy who first reported this bug – during the 15.1 beta cycle.

(Unfortunately for me) effective this week, my company’s corporate infoSec policy has changed … I am being forced to use the Outlook app; no longer permitted to use the native Calendar/Mail app.

Glad to hear it’s fixed though! Finally!

I have reported since iOS 14.5 each update, each of their updates, and unfortunately, it just gets worse. It’s too bad, performs just fine on a 2018 pro but they just can’t figure this one out

Sounds like they have not optimised it for the device.
