Theory regarding Universal Control. It all appears to be in place. However, the controls are marked "(beta)". I'm wondering if it will become a beta feature when 15.2 is released. Looks like all they need to do is activate the panel in settings to go live. So it would be released as a public beta as part of a public release.

My head is spinning...

Is this a bug or something else ? The twitter icon is darker

It used to be like that in Monterey betas. It’s not an indication.

Notifications are completely bust in this beta. I don't get notifications for any of my old apps, I have to reinstall them and then they work. very very weird bug.

I’ll take that big bag of hope any day. Can’t wait for this to come out. Very exciting ??

Nice find ??

I installed 15.2 beta 2 last night. And, pretty much soon after the update was complete I placed my 13 pro max on charge for a couple of hours. I don’t know whether or not iOS completed its indexing during those 2 hours on charge. I went to bed at 11am with 100% battery, and woke up at 8:30am this morning with 100% battery. That has t happened to me for a while. Even on iOS 14 on my old 12pm. I usually go to bed around 11am and wake up around 8-8:30am. And my battery has always lost 3% ish during the night.

Usually, after an update, I’ll experience the battery draining slightly quicker for the first few days. So I was pleasantly surprised to wake up with zero battery drain throughout the night.

So, for me, it’s off to a good start with 15.2 beta 2.

Anybody else having issues with Airpods (2nd gen) after this update? I can not call with them because the sound cuts out every x seconds. On the phone itself it is totally fine though. I did try to forget them and reconnect them but the same thing happened :(

in this beta 2 the consumption of "system data" is beginning to increase again. I think that ios 15 is based on a sampling problem of what each element of the phone occupies. I say this because photos go from occupying 9Gb to 9.10Gb only entering and leaving the storage section in the settings. and neither restoring nor updating by ipsw has improved this for me.

Anyone with T-Mobile and an iPad Pro or Mini 6 able to send MMS messages on any of these betas from the iPad? It keeps saying I need to activate MMS (which it is on my phone) but there is no option for it on the iPadOS. Is there a fix for this?

Thanks.

I think this has happened on 15.1 too.

I'll have to give this another whirl tonight because just the other day I went to bed with 72% after a full day (stellar battery on this 13 Pro) and I woke up with 51%. I normally just charge overnight but I've been a little more mindful of the 40-80% method with this phone.
