iOS 15.2 Beta 4 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

The news notifications bug is still present for me. Auto-brightness seems to be working, but not properly. It will dial the brightness of my screen right down for no apparent reason.
Battery life, it’s too early to tell. However, I went to bed around 11pm last night and woke up around 8.20am ish. And, throughout the night my battery has maintained a nice flat line. No drainage.

I do, but very rarely. I opened Apple Music last night for the first time in months.
If Apple can squash the last few bugs in 15.2 it would be the best iOS release that I’ve used for a while.
I do hope apple can squash these last few bugs in time for the 15.2 final release. If not it will be 15.2.1 until we see those bugs fixed won’t it?
As I’ve mentioned, the battery life on my 13pm on 15.2 has been much better than on 15.1. However, iPad OS is a different story. My iPad Air 4 battery is draining very quickly. The standby battery drain is rather significant. 30% overnight whilst doing nothing and being set to DND.

I had that issue when I upgraded to the 13pm. When I was setting the phone up I chose to transfer everything from my old iPhone. Once everything had finished setting up I was left with the issue you had there. I had to factory reset and then just restore from iCloud.
Back on-topic, is anyone experiencing occasional input lag on the iOS keyboard on 15.2 b4?

I forgot to put my phone in sleep mode last night but the battery drain over night with notifications coming in was still very impressive, charged on my drive home till 545 pm. Used my phone before bed and this am still at 95 percent ..usually when I do sleep mode I get a flat line over night like others have shown in here.. think its still to early as the new beta is not 24 hours old and still settling in.. think it will get better but so far not bad ??
I get this when I go to type the first letter in a new message .. it usually puts my second letter I type and ignores the first one I touch.. this has been happening to me since 15.1.. but the rest of my typing usually is fine so lag is only when I first open the app
My IPP is on 15.1 and my arrow keys just started working again also .. not on the beta not sure how all of the sudden these are working again .. YouTube didn’t update and I didn’t update the iOS .. happy its working again tho

I keep experiencing ghost notifications from telegram. They are annoying and I don't know why they are. As I am looking at a group from the orenador or my android phone, I get silent notifications on the iphone screen, which are not from any chat or group, they appear out of nowhere. They only come out as new messages are being loaded, if I go back over messages already read, they don't come out. I do not know if it is a telegram thing, or ios 15.2, but the fact is that I have reinstalled the app on all my devices, and nothing solves this, and they only appear on the iphone, in none of my other devices they appear.
I had this problem on beta 2.. Haven’t seen it yet on beta 4, but I’ll give it a few days. I even turned off Siri completely and it still used 15-25% f battery.
If it means anything, I saw this once on 15.1.1 in the middle of the night. I only saw the phone do it once, did a force restart that morning. Hopefully they fix it by the final.
Not here. Since installing beta4 on my 12PM, I’ve sent a dozen texts, about as many emails, and entered comments in this forum and others. No input lag or ignored letters. (Other than due to my usual sloppy typing.)
Hope this issue gets resolved for you, I’m sure it’s incredibly frustrating.
Running Telegram on my 13PM and 1+ 9Pro - thankfully not seeing this issue.
Mine was a flat line on beta 3. Lost 5% overnight with beta 4. No biggie. ( apologies for overcharging to 89% )

The first night of a new beta it’s gonna be slightly over running until it settles. No biggie.
But more importantly, what the flamingos are you doing charging your phone above the optimum 80% ? 😆😂
After turning off find my iPhone under both Find My and System services menu then turning them back on again the Find My solid and hollow status bar indicating network communication is always persistent. Before it would periodically ping Apple servers. Now it’s on all the time. Hence increased battery standby loss.
The other thing I did was change my Apple ID email address which was a yahoo one before to a iCloud one. Used Apples own guide for this.
I believe this is why I’m losing more battery at night during standby.
