Just want to share, after 24 hours update on iPad Pro M1 11” WiFi. The battery life is improved, from previously 10% per hour to 6% per 1.5 hour (light use). Still observing. I also update iPhone 11, but not using it much, hence didn’t really notice the difference (if any).
Also, storage bugs is resolved on both iPad and iPhone (was issue on 15.3 on both devices).

edit: pdf scroll in safari is smooth as usual (I use this example). But the App Store full description is still lagged.

Hmm, for me it’s the exact opposite. I loaded your link and scrolling is still laggy plus the storage bug still exists :(

Apple has wretched the ipads with ios 15. They still dont change the homescreen. The icons are too small and there a big distance between icons and edge. The baddest view that I have ever seen.
If the icons are too small for you, I’m happy to announce that you can change that back to the iOS 12 icon size. Just go to Settings > Home Screen & Dock > Use bigger app icons [ON]

13 ProMax
Weather + Widget

Not sure of the cause.
Will find that the widget and app don’t match temp. Even after opening via the widget they will differ.
Later I will come back and they match.

Hadn’t seen this in a while.

Is the scrolling the same on all iPhones?
My 13pro is not scrolling in app store at 120fps, but more likely at 10fps ?
15.3.1

Battery life seems better on 15.3.1... used my 12 Mini for 2 hours in bed and it was 90%

Not sure if this is 15.3.1 related but I noticed my battery dropped almost 30% in a few hours (when I have hardly picked it up, and not using it) which is very odd for it (iPhone 12 Pro). I looked at the last 24 hour battery usage and 25% of battery usage has been from the Apple News App. I have not opened that app in the last 24 hours (it has been weeks most likely). The apps are closed out every night when I go to bed so it is not like it was still somehow in the background running.

Any ideas? Definitely frustrating that it seems to be the single cause of battery drain, especially for me not even using my phone (I am at work). I wonder if anyone else is experiencing this?

EDIT: Turns out when I clicked on the Usage Activity it showed only 4 min of the News Widget (background activity). That is fairly annoying.

During last week i had the 4G data drop at least twice.
At home i have mobile data and wifi ON. Leaving home the wifi would disconnect and after about 30 minutes i found my phone without internet connection. Full signal, but no internet connection. Turn Mobile Data Off and On would not change anything but going into airplane mode and back online would solve the issue and the internet connection would come back. I don't remember this happening on 15.3 so i am not sure what is causing this.

It’s the buggiest iOS version I’ve had for a long time. iPhone 13 Pro Max here.

- Safari can’t decide if it’s the dark or light mode at the start page and is suddenly crashing.

- When I want to delete an app from the App Library the pop up appears on the left corner and isn’t readable.

- Trying to reply to a message from the Lock Screen and the keyboard is so laggy, it’s impossible to reply without problems.

- Scrolling through an app description in the App Store looks like 10fps

- Some folders and apps are suddenly disappearing in the App Library.

- Enabling the low power mode makes my phone slower than an iPhone 6. Scrolling with 10fps.

- PDFs within Safari are unreadable. Not possible to scroll smooth.

- Sometimes I need 5, 6 or 7 tries to close a safari tab by swiping. I really miss the safari from iOS 14.

- Not to mention all the other keyboard, auto correct and swipe issues since iOS 13 and earlier.

And yes. I have reported all these and more. But all my reports are at „no similar reports“. I’ve checked and closed some older reports from the last years. They are the same or marked as „fixed with iOS 15“, but they aren’t.

With iOS 13 ive had the feeling they only want to release their super fancy subscription features like Apple TV+, Apple Arcade and more and didn’t care about the bugs. They have also skipped iOS 13.0 for a public release. Lol.

It looks like you had specific issues on your phone. I don’t have iPhone 13. But on my iPhone 11, SE 2020, iPad Air 3 and iPP M1 this version is very smooth. For iPP I would say this is the best iPadOS 15 version so far. (battery, speed, stability etc).

I’d suggest to backup and erase all contents and setting.

That would mean that many users here have to do that because they have issues?

iPhone 12 Pro Max

When music is paused, saying “hey Siri play” doesn’t always work using AirPods Pro or AirPods Max. Sometimes nothing happens and sometimes it’s says “Sorry something went wrong I can’t resume.“ I can only get it to work on rare occasion.

Anyone else experiencing this?

15.3.1 seems to be the buggiest iOS update for me, period.

My 3-month-old 13 Pro is getting nightmares In terms of battery life. The phone gets warmer for absolutely no reason and according to the bat stats, every 2 or 3 days I'm seeing a "Recently deleted app" that gets 2 to 3h of my screen time. The overall battery experience is worse than all of my iPhones. I use 5G Auto, Background App Refresh only for messaging apps and overall social media apps throughout the day. I'm sharing with 20W Apple charger and 5W Apple one while at work. Despite the battery, the phone is phenomenal. Should I do Recovery Mode and install a fresh copy of the IPSW or should I wait for the 15.4 update?

P.S Just for the records - this morning I've just surfing Safari, IG, and FB for around 15 minutes and the battery dropped to 92%. My GF's 11 Pro did the same with the exact usage time this morning - it's surely an OS bug.

I have the 13 Pro Max. I checked emails and several news notifications, a couple Nextdoor posts and a weather app and still have 100% on my phone. I can’t say 15.3.1 has improved my battery life since the phone has been excellent all along since I got it in October. Individual usage seems to be the determining factor.

This is exactly like it was with Microsoft in the 2000s. This is why many of us moved to Apple in the first place. But here we are.
And I have done that many times with my previous iPhone 6s Plus and XS Max. With and without any backups. Reset with Finder/iTunes. No reset helped. The bugs and issues where still there.

During the iOS 13 time I was only reading things like „It’s your device, no iOS bugs“ or „Everything is smooth, no issues“. Now I’m reading some similar problems with iOS 15 from other people and they get the same answers. But also many other people have these issues.

Something really happened this weekend, since 2 colleagues of mine in the office also report a significant battery drain on Sat morning.

Decided to jump on the Beta Program and installed 15.4 - I'll report in the coming days.
