Hello. This has happened a few times already. The weather widget disappear and comes back after a side scroll. I still have no idea how to replicate the disappearance of it.

So, I installed version 15.3.1 on my iPad 8th gen. yesterday. And I wish I hadn't. It's pretty bad. Everything is laggy.
I did reboot the iPad. Twice. No effect.

Pages load slow in Safari and Firefox. And I mean slow. It just halts halfway and it can take as long as 10 seconds before the whole page appears, depending on its content.

A page of thumbnails with images doesn't load instantly, like it always has before, but is now an empty space in which the thumbnails then start to pop up, one by one. I scroll on, repeat.

Apple Maps now shows me a grid. After a few second the grid starts to be filled in. I move the map slightly, zoom in, zoom out, the grid is back. I didn't even know there was a grid as I'd never seen it before.

Video. Watching a movie on AppleTV. It pauses at times. Just halts. Then continues.

This is bad. And Apple has unsigned all previous version so I can't undo this.

Damn.

Well 15.3.1 has been the worst iOS 15 release for me. There seems to be a massive standby battery drain. Also anybody else have problems with Apple Music randomly not playing and skipping some content in lossless/Dolby formats?

I have this issue occasionally. It seems that if you are listening to a list, if you select "Shuffle" and "Repeat All." It helps. I have had the randomly stopping issue since 15.1 though as far as Carplay goes. I had this issue happen just yesterday but it only occurred once. I don't have the standby drain issue personally but I know others have. Have you looked into the battery stats to see if any apps are reporting anything? I had to remove a few apps that kept doing things despite it not being opened or having permission to use the background.

Anyone else having issues with Apple Pay not working? I've done it all — removed card, re-added, reset settings, restarted phone, etc. It no longer shows up next to any debit machine.

It's not the card itself as it works just fine with tap.

I have not noticed any issues with it not working on my end. Have you tried different POS terminals or different vendors to rule out something on their end? How old is the phone? Maybe the NFC chip on your phone is having issues. Hopefully not but you never know.

Worked twice for me this morning... breakfast at my favorite hole-in-the-wall neighborhood eatery and later at a local coffee shop... no issue for me.

I have had issues. It seems like after I reboot it works once or twice and then I get an error where it won’t process or work. I had deleted, re-add the cards (including my  card) and it keeps happening. This did start before 15.3.1 - on iOS14 I had no issues, and even on early versions of 15 I was fine. It has been since upgrading to the 13PM that my issues have happened.
