Is anyone here having got airpods 3 to try the muted microphone issue?

Tried with pairing and repairing and still the same, I definitely revert to 15.3

Try turning off Siri side button in settings then turn it on again.

Thanks! That was one of the first things I tried, unfortunately. Also toggled all the other Siri settings. I’ll try a soft and then hard restart next.

This is just one of those things that happen with betas and I’m sure it’s not widespread.

Fresh install, can not grant permissions for WhatsApp to Siri within an active carplay session. This prevents Siri from reading out the messages. I‘m unable to click the allow button.

Simple restart fixed it for the side button on phone. Will check car later (once the big snowstorm has passed )

Im having the following issues:

1) Opening plex.tv on Safari, after logging in, Safari gives an error
2) The Sixt app crashes ater you try to rent a carshare car

So, no one is having got the issue placing a call with AirPods and having got the called party unable to hear you until you switch from AirPods to speakerphone and viceversa???

It's all day long that I'm struggling with this issue and I'm reverting to 15.3 stable because of this just now

So first off my wife could always hear me, that was never an issue, but for me the right AirPod kept cutting out. So not a great experience.

After “forgetting device” and repairing, for now, I’ve had two successful calls.

So far, didn’t have this issue. Just finished a call minutes ago, and it was 100% fine.

Some calls cannot be heard by the other party if caller is using AirPods before call init (temporary fix, switch to speakerphone and then AirPods again) - issue is reproduced with AirPods3

Is someone being able to test this issue with airpods3 to know if is related only to AirPods3???

Mask ID works really well on my 12.
But, if you go in store and your glasses mist up, it can’t recognise your eyes to approve the unlock. De-mist if this happens. Works perfectly at home with unmisty glasses
Same here works well however there are certain angle it could takes some times to recognize me. Not sure whether i should reset the face id memory and try again

The data in London can be quite bad. I don't know whether it's the tall buildings or overloaded cells but even trying to FaceTime audio with someone as they wander around the city can be irritating with it cutting out. However, simple safari stuff should work ok.

As for your smarty SIM, is it an orange one? They were my favourite.

Thanks for the explanation. With Orange are you referring to “the futures bright the futures orange “? Or color of SIM card ? As far as I know it’s an mvno using the 3UK network.
Adrian is right—over the summer, I tried all carriers: Vodafone, 3UK, O2 and EE.
3UK was the worst of the bunch: either full signal but pages not loading, or no signal at all.

Vodafone and O2 had capacity issues in Soho and other busy areas —again often I’d have full bars but internet would be excruciatingly slow.
Only EE was reliable all the time in my experience.
