@Limeybastid Brilliant review on the battery standby. But dude, this is making me sad 😔 are you even using your iPhone, or do you just let it sit there and look all pretty.

Are you sure you are not using an android on the side 😩😩
Hello you lovely person 😂 my post was referring to standby drain not screen on time. That’s why perhaps you didn’t see any usage.

😒😒 Hi, what’s it going to take for you to make 10 hours and 42 minutes of usage with 38 minutes of screen off time?

The screen time you posted doesn’t really justify the results because you barely used your iPhone man. You just let your iPhone sit out there and look all pretty. Not doing any work. I also think you didn’t force close the apps thus they were running in the background. What’s your main device? Android? This is your 2nd chance to come clean 😂

I was sleeping. I was depicting it’s usage when not being used.

Battery standby has been amazing. No drain over night on Wi-Fi. The environment has so much to do with the battery performance whether it be screen on time or otherwise. Whilst away in another country, my dual sim setup drained like a biatch. Not terrible but definitely not like what I’m used to back home.
Low power mode is rarely used. But was used the previous session per the pic. Since I was conserving juice and had no access to power.
These BOE OLED panels must like the warmer weather lol.

What color filters are you using?

Your reds look orange. ?

You‘ve made it so far, might aswell wait for tomorrow’s event and the RC / final version. Whether that is B5 or another build, who knows. All I know is that I‘ve done this many times (install a beta the day before an event) and it always sucks when they push out a newer build after the event. Could‘ve essentially waited 24 hours.

Could someone check if this bug is still present?
Steps to repro:
  1. In IPad / iPhone open Safari and take a screenshot
  2. In edit window crop picture and save it
  3. Check what is saved in Pictures app - currently its saved without crop - what is, the whole picture is saved
Same goes for cropping and sending a picture for instance in Messenger. Whole screenshoot taken is sent

Oh I had that for a long time! Until I realized that I hit "Save" too fast, before the cropped picture is shown without the borders etc. Try to wait 1-2 seconds longer before hitting "Save", then it will be fine.

He clarified later that he meant that the monitor would be running an A-series processor. That’s still interesting but not the dance as running iOS (other than a stripped down version possibly as instruction sets for the chips)
This event might not be a snooze fest after all.

Hopefully my wallet stays closed after it lol. ?‍♂️

How has battery life been with the Core Animation bug fixed? Have you seen a bigger battery drain in 15.4 now that the 120Hz is working correctly?

So you are seeing that the full 120Hz usage is actually helping battery life in iOS 15.4. It would be interesting to know how much battery life is gained in 15.4 vs 15.3.1.
Never had a problem when it comes to battery life on my 13 pro max.

Was getting decent battery life on 15.3.1 & 15.4.

Hard to kill this battery in a day, finish most days with 50% left, maybe if I had a SD 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200 ?? I’d be able to kill it in 3 hours. ??

Apple processors are on another level when it comes to power and efficiency.

?? ???

Some people were speculating that maybe once Apple fixed the Core Animation bug that the battery life might not be as good because the 120Hz refresh system wide and working all the time correctly.
