So if the 15.4 beta release candidate build is the same as the final release build, I can just delete my beta profile and it's the same as having the official build installed, right? I only wanted the beta for the improved ProMotion.
Yep ✅ exactly the same as the final release.

hey guys, im on ios14 but my signal si weak - 2 bars on 4g, i was wondering if i update ot ios 15.4, will there be a difference?

Could be if you’re running normal software, doesn’t say anything about beta software.

I think it’s to recover the Watch no matter what software you are running without needing to have it sent to a repair facility. And as I mentioned, this may be a test run for implementing the same sort of thing for a portless iPhone in the not too distant future.

Just installed the Mail app instead of Gmail. I can’t seem to find notification settings though? New emails are coming through silently…only badge is shown.

Hope you’re right, guess we’ll find out soon, once someone bricks their watch. ??

Can’t wait for the iPhone to go portless, one less thing we have to worry about, the amount of friends and family that call me telling me their charging port isn’t working consistently, does my head in.

Always pocket lint that’s the issue. ?‍♂️

Uninstalled the Mail app and reinstalled it. After opening the first time iOS asks permission for notifications. Didn’t get this earlier. After answering Yes the notification settings appeared within Mail settings. So all’s good. Cheers

Has anyone noticed the general colour change after installing 15.4 public releases? Both my 12 mini and Air 4 seem less bright overall and the whites are “cooler” with a slight pinkish tint?

Try restarting the devices. I am not sure if it's the same thing, but there has been a bug for ages which makes everything look washed out (although I always use dark mode and I am not sure if it affects light mode as well). If it is the same thing, it should resolve after a restart. If there is something else changed, I have not noticed it on my devices.

It’s not exactly “washed out”, just a bit less bright and a slightly different tint of white. ??‍♂️ I always restart the devices after updates.

I don't think this is new by any means, but something that I just discovered that isn't so obvious but can be useful. If you "close all tabs" in Safari, but you change your mind because let's say for example there was a tab you didn't mean to close, you can actually shake to undo. And it'll restore all the tabs. In fact, you can even do it when you close individual tabs.

Is anyone experiencing touch screen issues since 15.4? At first I thought it was the most recent buggy update of Pokemon Go, but just now I was not able to hang up a phone call. Started after I installed the RC.
