I did a search but didn't find this topic - Custom Calendar Notifications. I am receiving notifications for invitations received so I went into Calendar Notifications and noticed there was a Custom Notifications option. When I try to change the settings for Upcoming Events and Invitations the phone resprings - I see the little circle and then it goes to the lock screen. I can open the phone back up and I see the changes reverted back. I am on the the official 15.4.
Anyone seeing this issue?

Mine are all on by default - never changed them.
I did try changing Upcoming Events and had no issue. Tried with the other four options and no issue with any of them.

Maybe a hard reboot?

That's good to hear. I did do a hard reboot but no luck. I am going to do a restore and see what happens. This is happening on my 13Pro but it is not happening on my 11.

Update: did a backup restore and no luck. Might have to do a clean install. Not looking forward to that.

"System Data" is still taking up a lot. Not even restoring is solved, with which iOS has a functioning problem. Up and down its use for seconds, I don't understand how it works so badly in that aspect.

Mine is at a much more respectable 7.5 GB (during the beta it was up in the 15 GB range, which was to be expected given the logging and diagnostics)

still having problems with apple carplay. what a drama. so done with it! I've tried everything and nothing seems to help. reinstalling the software and setting it up is fine for a day. the next day another problem with connections.
What issues are you having with it? I haven't had anything major on my end. Occasional song skipping on apple music but that is about it. Of course, I have not personally used 3rd party apps over carplay yet.
Thx for you’re answer ?

apple carplay wireless will not connect to the car. so when i get in the iohone itself will connect by bluetooth to the car stereo. he doesn't anymore. it cannot establish the connection. I then have to restart the iPhone.

I have less than 30 apps, and it is recently restored. It started with 3Gb, and in two days it went up to 10Gb, and now it is going from 12 to 6Gb in a matter of minutes. Before you restored and this problem disappeared, now it remains the same. The only thing I managed to restore is losing the old fitness + workouts, it has served me nothing else 🤬

Have you tried completely forgetting the car on your phone's BT list, then do the same on the car? I have had to "forget" BT devices in the past when connections don't work right. Then see how it works. Unfortunately, I cannot advise on Wireless carplay as my car only works over a USB cable as far as carplay goes but BT seems to work okay.

With that said, I have had these issues in the past occasionally. Usually, I would restart the phone and/or the car to correct it. I chalked it off as just a "wireless anomaly." lol

There is a really nasty bug in safari on iOS and iPad OS if you are in a custom tab group and go to download a file. It will throw up the “do you want to download” dialogue box TWICE. In the regular browsing are it doesn’t do this.

See below…

Also another one in tab groups, sometimes clicking links or doing a google search and clicking a search result will do this weird auto snap back to the last page…..almost like it tricks you into thinking its loading the link then quickly goes to the previous page you clicked the link from. Again in the normal browsing area this is not an issue. This has rendered tab groups almost useless on my iPad Pro when actually trying to WORK.

Heard someone say that it’ll drop down in storage over time. ?

Mine just went from 5gb to 3.78gb

When I restored it was around this size, I uploaded the maximum up to 5Gb, which with the apps I have could be reasonable. But the fact is that two days later, it was already fired, and these days I hardly used the phone, so there was little app cache. It fires randomly, and suddenly returns to normal values, and then fires again and so on continuously. Few versions of iOS I remember that have been stable for good in this regard. Most have been for the worse.

I think I would not pay attention to the minute by minute fluctuations in this number. Unless you start having trouble loading new apps or downloading media or the like, I don’t think it’s meaningful.

Mine don’t work Either. Seriously this update has been a ***** dumpster fire. 6 months into iOS 15 and they just keep making it worse. This is getting pathetic.
The music app has been pretty bad in particular, both on macOS and iOS. Alongside Safari, of course. But these are two of the most important apps… I dunno why they don’t get the attention they deserve.

Because Apple cares about selling products and services. The last couple of years have been really bad with software bugs across ALL DEVICES. The more complicated they make stuff the more chances for bugs especially when everything is done in the cloud.
