15.6 won’t be released till late June in all likelihood, so this is the last point release, yes.

Why not just release a 15.5.1 then?

Because there may be API changes or enough bug fixes to justify the point release status.

There's still about 4 months before iOS 16 is released, so most likely there will be additional iOS 15 releases.

Yeah, it happens not infrequently with the first build. Not always, but not infrequently.

Most likely they forked this build before the 1.61.00 modem was incorporated into 15.5.

Call drops should go away, if its modem related. Otherwise a fix has been made in the Phone app.
