Anyone else having issues with connecting to Wifi after updating to 15.6? The only thing I've tried so far is hard rebooting (volume up/down - hold power), but that did not resolve the issue. After selecting the Wifi network, it is stuck in the "loading" stage with the circular spinning icon next to the Wifi network name.

try a network reset, in settings. I do this after every beta install.

Could also try toggling on off airplane mode.

This was a bit different.
No "Agree" popup statements before download - usually get 2 - got the one after like normal
It went through the Apple Logo screen a few times - more than usual.

Other than that the install was okay.

more to come ....

Thanks for the suggestion. Just tried that, and still having the same problem. The circular spinning icon appears next to the network name and will not connect. I also tried forgetting the network and reconnecting, still with no luck.

Any other suggestions?

P.S. The problem is occurring on both my iPhone 13 Pro Max and iPad Pro M1 (5th generation) after updating to 15.6.

Reboot your router (if you can). Also try another network if available. Lastly maybe a reinstall of iOS may resolve it.

Thank you, I'll try that! Is re-installing 15.6 done by using the Finder application and holding down the command key to select the downloaded IPSW? Or do I need to do the DFU thing?

DFU is only used to restore the device either to previous or higher firmware that wipe personal data. Use the combo keys with Finder to “Check for Upgrade” to upgrade, reinstall or downgrade to retain your data.

Thank you, and thanks to @sbailey4 for your help! I downloaded the 15.5 IPSW and my iPhone is reinstalling 15.5 now.

Restart the router.

Yeah, it happens not infrequently with the first build. Not always, but not infrequently.

Most likely they forked this build before the 1.61.00 modem was incorporated into 15.5.
Wow, they must have forked this build from b1 or b2 then? Because 1.61.00 came in with b3, according to my notes......hard to read my handwriting though

Any noticeable changes?

And to have it complete:
Is safari quicker?
How is battery life?

13 ProMax OTA from 15.5
  • Animations are faster
  • Battery - no clue at this time
  • Cell calls and WiFi calls are good so far
  • When you open Camera (load) the screen gives a double/triple flicker (video attached - at start you see the flicker)

more to come ...

Now I wasn't going to say anything, because people say its a placebo, but the animations are faster. You can feel it.
But I always find they then slow again nearer the final release which upsets me ?, because I like this quick feeling of responsiveness.

EDIT: Do you think the calls is related to the modem downgrade, so the modem needs a bug fix when we upgrade again, not the Phone App?

I can't really say. I really didn't have much of an issue with RC - I am single SIM though.

Anyone else have “downloading” showing for the Siri voice you have selected? I use the default voice 4 on my devices and all of them show “downloading” but it never finishes. Asking Siri questions it seems to be behaving normal.
