holding off till beta 2, 15.5 is pretty good for me now
There will be many more 15s, 16 doesn’t release until sept.Considering this will likely be the last and most stable version of iOS 15 and rumors are that the initial iOS 16 betas will be buggier than normal, I will update to this.
I mean the last 15.x release. I'm sure there will be a 15.6.1. But not a 15.7.There will be many more 15s, 16 doesn’t release until sept.
Ok, so they must be changing something around Siri in this release and it is buggy. Thanks.
Edit: Submitted feedback (FB10021736).
i selected another voice for siri and it downloaded just fine. it doesn’t spin forever on downloading anymore.
the 15 second skip bug in apple music is back for me though; happens randomly.
Doesn’t for me, just keeps spinning no matter what voice.

Yes, Siri is a little buggy in this release.Anyone else experiencing Siri suddenly going baritone and falsetto while she speaks your directions in CarPlay?
Waze had/has this feature for basic directions. My friend sent me the file with her voice and it cracks me up with some of the personalization she added. I use Waze every once in a while just to hear it since we only see each other every few years and neither of us are phone talkers.Wish we could download (from the App Store) our own voices for Siri. That could get comical.
okay so it only stops spinning when i turn off wifi. once i turn wifi back on, the downloading spinner just keeps going.Doesn’t for me, just keeps spinning no matter what voice.
I think it is cosmetic. My iPad Air 4 shows downloading all the time because it is a Wi-Fi model, and I have 3 hours usage on a full charge and am only down to 82%. My iPhone 13PM has been on cellular and I have 20 minutes screen on and 50 minutes screen off usage and am sitting at 98%.okay so it only stops spinning when i turn off wifi. once i turn wifi back on, the downloading spinner just keeps going.
really hoping it’s a cosmetic bug and isn’t actually using up data/battery the whole time.
Nice user photo. Your photo made me hit my MacBook Pro screen. I thought there was a bug, haha!Same… thought it might do its thing overnight. But I was wrong!
Guess it’s going to be old school Siri for a while![]()
This month is going by so slow. WWDC is right around the corner. Can't wait!!!Hurry up iOS16![]()
Bugs in the OS, bugs on the screen ... where *aren't* there bugs!Nice user photo. Your photo made me hit my MacBook Pro screen. I thought there was a bug, haha!![]()

I agree with you. But by the time you grab a magazine or a piece of cardboard the bug may fly away or move elsewhere, leaving you with no time with catching/smash it. 🥢🦟 You have to be quick thoughNever smash bugs directly on your MacBook/iPhone/iPad screen...... unless you enjoy the splatter of bug juice and bug guts all over your screen.
Instead, I grab a rolled up magazine or piece of cardboard and swat it away sideways.
