iOS 15 Beta 2 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

I’ve had to go back out and back into those settings to get that option to show again.
Have you got Plex working with remote access in the situation where you have a small Plex server on your Mac? Private Relay borked that up here.
I guess the Messages app doesn’t want to work for me while connected w/ CarPlay. Doesn’t read incoming messages, and when I open the app on my phone it’s just a blank black screen. No messages or anything. As soon as I unplug it, all of my convos appear. I’ll try a reboot and see what it’s like tomorrow I guess.
Yes but i can choose between two option:
Do not disturb - there is no notification
Focus - just some notification
So how open normal mode?
When its grey its focus when color dont disturb. Any idea?

When it says focus that’s just the name of it doesn’t mean it’s on. If it’s greyed it’s off
I only use Plex at home so I don't know if accessing it from away works or not. I just turned off wifi on my iOS 15 beta 2 phone and it was able to remote access Plex.
That's what you meant ? Accessing your Plex from outside your home network ?

So far reboot and hard reboot haven’t helped.
That app should be there regardless of whether you have a watch or not. Used to be called Activity.
Yeah, it seems anything with EAC3 5.1 is broken, some other audio types work. I know it's a beta and I can't expect Plex to update their app, but I'm using infuse as they've fixed their app.
Seems to charge pretty slow, definitely not fast charging like before. A beta 2 thing or maybe I should troubleshoot my cables/chargers.
My experience of beta 2 iOS and iPadOS has been mostly positive. Obviously beta and subject to change but my experience/observations are the following…
1) some issues between iOS and watchOS 8. Remote controls for music/podcasts seem broken. In beta one I struggled to change volume from watch but now navigation affected too. Bug report sent.
2) a few CTDs but nothing major.
3) VPN for me wasn’t working at first. I use WireGuard who released an update and it works great now.
4) Seriously miss the refresh button in safari and hope they bring it back.
5) Some issues with shortcuts. Especially ones that launch other shortcuts. If I ask from Siri it says I need to give permission but even after I do it just does the same thing next time.
6) Siri in general is very janky (ha what’s new!) but more so in the beta with Siri telling me “something went wrong” a lot.
In fairness, none of these are major enough to worry me. Just curious if others have had same experiences or have found any temporary workarounds?

Not a new trick, but when it would occasionally have that happen in releases past, I'd go to Sounds, tap the choice for Messages to trigger it, and then all would be back to normal. I'm guessing it still works. Not sure if it'll solve your problem, but worth a try.
OK, I may be late to this Focus party, but being able to turn it on and off and open that nifty little cascade of a menu from the lock screen are delightful.
Mine wasn't there either and not showing up, I searched from the first page of the settings and then click on it, took me to it, and then it showed up in the iCloud section.
That setting has disappeared for me several times, both beta 1 & 2. I often receive a notification that Private Relay is temporarily unavailable so after noticing it’s missing.
I did a bit of playing around and finally got it to show up once I turned it on under Cellular > Cellular Data Options and rebooted the phone.

Beta 2 on my iPad Pro 2021 and Bluetooth audio on both AirPods Pro and other Bluetooth devices is still hot garbage. Whether playing YouTube, Spotify, Netflix or my own MKV video files from Infuse Pro the audio stutters and cuts out so much it’s ridiculous. Not sure how such a simple thing could be messed up so badly.
